ibis Innsbruck

"Hotel ibis Innsbruck is very well positioned: it is right in front of the main Railway Station ("Hauptbahnhof"), and most of the city bus and trams stop in the square the hotel faces, so it is very easy to reach any point in the Innsbruck area from the hotel, with public transportation. The city centre is just two stops away by public transportation, or less than ten minutes walk from the hotel. My room was good, standard ibis room, only bigger than average. The bed was confortable, and insulation from outside noise was very good. Air conditioning was noisy and little effective. The bathroom was also good. Breakfast was very good, and staff were helpful. All in all, good value for money."

"Fairly typical Ibis rooms and facilities. Clean comfortable rooms, poor very floppy pillows. Limited bar drink selection but they have the basics. Breakfast is the typical buffet, adequate but nothing exceptional. Don't park in the station to unload like I did! Hotel parking is in the Motel One car park next door (50m south of the hotel entrance). Take a ticket on the way in, roller doors open, then left, right,left,right then along to the Ibis marked spaces at the end. The exit by the spaces gets you straight to the Ibis lift. Hotel is a little away from the tourist centre but very walkable."

"It was good, close to the station. Especially for an trainspotter, i liked that. I don’t think that other people thought the same. Room didn’t get cleaned twice."
