"Excellent location, 7 minute walk from Innsbruck hospital, 10 minute walk from the old town. The staff were very friendly and helpful, our room was clean and comfortable. The buffet breakfast was very good. The only downside for us was that the hotel restaurant was not open in the evening for an ocassional dinner. They did however provide a list of recommended restaurants which we visited and enjoyed."

"This hotel does not deserve 4 stars at all! The staff was very cold and inhospitable, as though they were not supposed to help/assist their guests in any way. The rooms did not include any disposable items like toothbrush, toothpaste, cotton pads, slippers etc nor a telephone to even call the reception. Disposable items were on sale in the vending machine near the reception (5€). They did not have robes at all and the rooms did not provide mini refrigerators as well as mini bars. The reception only worked from morning till 7pm and barely spoke any English. They did not let us turn on the heater because apparently it ‘adjusted’ itself according to the weather (it was around 10-13 degrees Celsius). When we arrived on breakfast near 9pm (it ends at 10pm) we had to specifically ask to restock their products. One time we forgot both of the key cards of our room and had to dial their ‘emergency number’ in the evening for them to help us. When the staff arrived they were acting very angry and bothered. It is inconclusive how Austria assigns stars to their hotels, because this was definitely not a 4-star hotel."

"This hotel is a short walk from the station and very convenient for visiting Innsbruck. The room was comfortable and quiet but disappointingly one of the beds was not fully made up. Finding staff to rectify this not easy as Reception is not always manned. Breakfast selection excellent and helpful staff on hand. This said I am not sure the hotel is 4 star."
