Basic Innsbruck

"We recently stayed at the hotel in Innsbruck and really appreciated the perfect location—that was the main reason we chose it. The staff were also friendly and helpful throughout our stay. That said, there were a few areas that could be improved given the price point. Our room had a glass wall between the bathroom and bedroom, which let in a lot of light and woke my wife up in the mornings. My parents' room had a solid wall, which worked much better. It’s unclear why the design is different between rooms. Also, the heat pump in our room didn’t seem to stay on at night, so it got uncomfortably warm. Additionally, when my wife requested a kettle, the one we received—along with the cups—was dirty. Although I was able to exchange it, the replacement kettle didn’t work either. Given the price we paid, I was a bit disappointed by the limited amenities offered, even though the name does mention "basic." Innsbruck was definitely the most challenging place on our trip to find a hotel that offered both good value and a reasonable price."

"With the name of the Basic hotel, you got more than just your basic needs covered! Really have a pleasant stay, as well as welcoming hospitability of the staffs, especially the buff guy that was serving on the breakfast. Thank you and may come back again next time!"
