Ferryhill House Hotel

"Went to the restaurant for my 40th birthday meal with my children. Staff were amazing, exceeded expectations couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating. The meal , food itself , was delicious, very flavourful, fresh and filling . Great choice of dishes to choose from. The atmosphere was great the experience was great . Clean and organised establishment. Will definitely be returning ,100% recommend to anyone looking to try somewhere new to try for good delicious food."

"Very disappointing not what I expected from a 3/4* hotel. Our room was not the best, large water stain down the wall paper under the window and as for the shower room that was disgusting. The silicon seal around the shower was black with mould and there was dust/dirt on the skirting boards and a cracked sink to be honest shocked that they would even put people in that room. The breakfast was ok however no toast with our tea and wasn't even offered any. We ate at the hotel for evening meal again mine was pesto linguine that was swimming in oil so only ate a small amount, husband enjoyed his steak. Disappointing stay as this was for our anniversary, certainly won't be going back or recommend"

"Car park at front of hotel. The room was a good size. It has everything you need - fridge, TV, kettle, sockets next to bed, table. Good sized bathroom. Shower had plenty pressure and hot water. The only negative was that the bathroom had an unpleasant smell of blocked drains."
