Copthorne Hotel Aberdeen

"Staye here a couple of times. Staff are very nice in this hotel. Bedroom spacious and clean and comfy bed. Pillows could be more better as find them thin and not comfortable. Iron and iron table in room also a fan if to hot. Food was nice aswell."

"We booked 2 nights bed and breakfast for my birthday we only stayed for 1 and had no breakfast due to getting no sleep we were exhausted.the hotel was nice as were the staff on closer inspection of the bathroom there was some mould around the bath and handles that should have been cleaned. We arrived on the 4th of April 2026 there was a yellow weather warning..we were told that they had a 21st birthday booked with a dj and this would be on until 1 am if i had known this when i booked by telephone i would have not went ahead..the music was just a constant bang bang bang all night and the strong winds just rattled the window the whole night we got no sleep we also had a meal there, mines was okay but not anything like it was described in the menu..the salad had brown edges..my partner ordered fish and chips the fish was formed frozen fish, it had been cooked then reheated was full of grease and had solid overdone batter which was so obvious, he was offered a new one but this just put him off eating anything we were not charged for this but a man from the kitchen maybe the chef? came to stare at us through the window when we returned his meal..i felt very intimidated by this and wondered what was his purpose in doing this was we felt very uneasy and left very quickly i only ate a small part of my meal...all of this together made us leave after 1 night i did try to explain when i handed the key cards back and the girl said she was sorry but that didnt help that my birthday had been spoiled..."

"Great hotel, super clean and been refurbished recently. Food great and staff so friendly. I have to mention Caitlin she went out her way to help me with anything I needed. True credit to the hotel. Location is great as well it’s a hidden gem."
