"First impressions were not good. The hotel was central .The front desk guy was unfriendly and dull. I had to walk up creaky stairs to level 3. There's no lift. Not accessible for disabled then. Got into room and what a sorry state. The carpets were threadbare and had bald patches, TV didn't work, furniture dated . The bathroom was very tight. The only good thing going for this place was the bathtub and- yes ! Hot water ! Tried getting a sleep but the bed was too uncomfortable- springs poking everywhere. I ended up giving up trying and I was so upset I had a panic attack. I know it was cheap but this place is awful. I never stayed at all. I was on top floor and the seagulls bashing against the window was very upsetting. There was noise from other guests arguing which added to my anxiety. Im disgusted."

"Having stayed here several times, last time was 2019, I didn't bother reading the latest reviews. Big mistake. The new owners have left this once beautiful hotel go to rack and ruin. Awful place. Dirty, grubby and generally run down. Would not recommend"

"We checked into the hotel at 2pm, we went to our rooms and found blood on the toilet and clump of hair. The sheets had dirt and hair on them, one of the beds had a brown smug on the side. Rooms smelled like mold/musty. The photos did not match the room, it feel like I was scammed out of my money. The front desk didn't do much. By 3pm we were checked into another hotel. Travelers beware."
