The Lensbury Resort

"Overall, the hotel was good value - mainly because my friend and I play tennis and used the facilities. The breakfast was nice, lots of choice. Staff were pleasant. Hotel is a bit dated but we half expected that. What we didn’t expect (and the reason for this review) is that we weren’t in the main house (which features in all the online material) but in an annexe, that looked like a council block - across the car park. The room was ok, but a bit small. Please see photos. I didn’t even know that there was the possibility of bit staying in the hotel. False advertising to a degree"

"We were greeted by William in Reception who was friendly and very welcoming. It was my husband’s birthday and a card with bottle of wine had been left in our room. All the staff were delightful and although there was a wedding reception being held in the hotel we were never made to feel as though we were less important. We used the swimming pool before breakfast and were impressed by the cleanliness. The breakfast selection was excellent."

"We had a splendid company off-site at the lensbury. Comfortable, spacious rooms, excellent breakfasts and lunches. Beautiful and huge grounds and a modern spa and fitness facilities. Several good restaurants in the neighborhood. Walking along Thames river with the pedestrian bridge crossing 3 minutes from the hotel. The stay definitely exceeded my expectations. Staff super friendly."
