"Our experience at L Hotel Sarigerme was absolutely awful, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who expects basic standards of cleanliness. The cleanliness of our room was completely unacceptable. We were so unhappy with the condition of the room that we were shown four other rooms, all of which were of the same poor standard. This was not an isolated issue with one room; the alternatives offered were no better, leaving us with no confidence that we could enjoy a clean and comfortable stay. As a result, we decided not to stay at the hotel at all and did not spend a single night there during our booked holiday. What made the situation even worse was the way our complaint was handled. The manager, in our opinion, dealt with the matter very poorly and provided our holiday provider with an account of events without even looking at the photographs we had taken as evidence. Our request for a refund was then declined, despite the fact that we did not stay for any of our booked nights because of the condition of the accommodation. We are extremely disappointed with both the standard of cleanliness and the lack of care shown when we raised our concerns. When guests are unhappy enough to reject five rooms in total, you would expect the hotel management to take the complaint seriously, properly review the evidence and make a genuine effort to resolve the situation. Overall, this was a very upsetting and costly experience. Cleanliness should be a basic standard, not something guests have to fight for. The way our complaint was handled only added to our disappointment. Based on our personal experience, I would strongly advise anyone considering L Hotel Sarigerme to carefully research recent reviews before booking."

"Room: We stayed in a Swim-Up Deluxe Room, which was incredibly spacious, well laid out, and had plenty of storage. The private patio area is generous, featuring two chairs, two sun loungers, and steps leading directly into the pool. A quick tip for future guests: only rooms 115 through 119 get sun all day; all other swim-up rooms lose sunlight by midday. The room also came equipped with a fridge, safe, kettle, and tea/coffee facilities. However, the room had several drawbacks that impacted our sleep and overall comfort. The air conditioning was very noisy, and the bedding was poorly fitted—sheets were just laid on top of the mattress rather than tucked in, so they bunched up constantly during the night. While housekeeping came daily, the standard was disappointing. The floors remained dirty (made worse by walking in and out from the pool), and the shower ceiling had peeling paint and generally needed a deep clean. Pool: The freshwater pool is unheated, so it is cold when you first step in, but it’s very refreshing once you're in and kept extremely clean. It’s a generous size for a hotel of this scale, and they allow inflatables, which was a nice bonus. Food & Drink: We stayed on a bed-and-breakfast basis. Breakfast was quite disappointing with a very limited selection. However, lunch and dinner were a completely different story—the restaurant served tasty, well-prepared meals with a good variety. The drink selection was also solid, and the staff working the restaurant and bar were wonderful. Beach & Town: The location is brilliant. The beach is about a 10-minute walk in one direction—it’s clean, relaxing, offers free sunbeds, and has plenty of great spots for food and drink. The town is a 10-minute walk in the opposite direction, packed with local shops and restaurants. Overall: This hotel has enormous potential to be an excellent boutique property. However, management seriously needs to address housekeeping standards, instruct maintenance to carry out necessary general repairs over the winter off-season, and invest in proper fitted bedding so guests can get a comfortable night's rest."

"Overall average experience. It’s basic and a very tired. The breakfast is terrible! Such a basic selection. We feel like it does the very least to hit a rating. The cleaning at this hotel is awful. The towel and bed linen are threadbare. They are beyond salvageable. Nothing is cleaned properly. My absolute biggest complaint is the cats and dogs everywhere. My little girl was excited about the play area. It was COVERED IN DOG POO! The entire week it never moved. Absolutely vile! I understand you can’t manage all strays but it was out of control. Dogs lay on all the furniture. I felt it was very unhygienic for children. I feel it could so easily be turned around but it feels like nobody can be bothered. It’s a good clean, new towels and bedding away from being a nice hotel."
