"We have just returned from a weeks stay as a family of four. Really nothing negative to say!
Check in was quick and easy and met by friendly reception staff.
We had interconnecting rooms. They are not modern rooms and are traditional Turkish decor, a bit dated, but clean tidy and fully functional. Room was cleaned with fresh water etc left by the cleaning staff. It wasn’t deep cleaned but it was more than enough.
The pool area and hotel grounds are immaculate. The surrounding area is really beautiful. A robot pool cleaner is used every night and every morning a member of staff checks and adjusts chlorine levels. The pool really is clean and tidy. The slide is a nice touch for the kids.
The food was great. We found plenty of choice at each meal. Breakfast was good with fresh eggs cooked any way you want. Fresh breads, jams, fruit, juices etc
Lunch was also very good.
Dinner had a bbq most nights with a chicken, fish, lamb and even a kebab on a spit one night. Plenty of options for children too with pizza, nuggets, pasta etc can’t fault the food.
Snack bar is on for an hour between lunch and dinner with chicken and lamb burgers. There are also free cornettos and cookies for an hour in the afternoon.
The drinks were good. Efes on draft and branded soft drinks available. The cocktails in the all inclusive were just ok, made with syrups etc so very sweet but the premium cocktails you could pay for were a lot better. Top tip, water is not bottled but is filtered and self serve, so take a decent water bottle to fill yourself for around the pool.
Special mention to Kadir and Asli in the entertainment team who were great and get everyone involved with activities during the day. Darts, pool, water polo etc. This is definitely a more relaxed entertainment programme than larger hotels but they do a great job. Nice and relaxed music playing during meals and around the pool.
Tennis, gym, adult only silent pool etc were all well kept and clean.
If you’re travelling from the uk, bring English notes with you as the atms charge 8-14% for withdrawals and the shops all prefer English cash. (Particularly handy for a visit to hisaronu market on Monday morning 7 - 12, which is were you can haggle for clothes, bags etc)
All the wait staff, bar staff, reception staff were polite, friendly and a good understanding of English, cannot fault them, Hasin in the restaurant was very attentive and looked after so well during meals.
The drinks aren’t served to your table during meals. But the bar is right beside the restaurant so just grab a drink on your way to dinner or lunch.
We organised a trip to the spa for our first morning. It was 10/10 and a really reasonable price. Turkish bath, massage, sauna and plunge pool. It is newly renovated and well worth a visit. Can also organise a massage on your sun lounger if that’s your thing!
A really amazing stay and already planning to return!
Hisaronu is 15 minutes walk down hill and a lovely town. Some great bars and unlimited shopping options. Taxi back to the hotel was £4.
On a separate note, I would take recent negative reviews with a pinch of salt. We witnessed other guests being extremely rude to the entertainment staff, shouting swearing and threatening to leave negative reviews. The guests were in the wrong and the whole thing was embarrassing, so be careful when you read one side of a story!"
