"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our Week at Green Anatolia
We stayed at Green Anatolia for one week as a family of three — two adults and our 2.5-year-old. Overall, we had a lovely holiday and really enjoyed our time here. As the hotel has only opened this year, I wanted to share some honest but constructive feedback, as I’m sure things will continue to improve as the hotel settles in.
🛏️ Rooms
The rooms were okay, although they were a little on the small side for a family of three.
The towels were replaced every day, which was great, but unfortunately we didn’t feel the room itself was cleaned particularly well during our stay.
The bathroom was probably the biggest downside for us. It definitely needs some refurbishment, with mould visible on some of the walls and tiles. Our toilet also moved when you sat on it, which obviously wasn’t ideal. I know from speaking to others that some bathrooms were worse than others, so hopefully this is something the hotel will look at.
That being said, the room was perfectly usable for a week and we appreciated having fresh towels every day.
🏊♀️ Pool
The pool was definitely one of our favourite parts of the hotel. It was lovely, clean and a really good size.
There is a slide which our little one enjoyed watching, although we do think it could be open for a little longer throughout the day.
There were also inflatables brought out a couple of times during the week, which was a great addition and particularly good for the older children.
🍽️ Food
The food was probably the area we felt could have been improved the most.
If you’re a fussy eater, there isn’t a huge amount of choice. There is enough to find something to eat, but the options can become quite repetitive, which is why we did eat out a few times during our week.
We also felt there could be more options specifically for younger children. Something as simple as having cold meats, cheeses and bread available at lunchtime would be great, as families could easily make a sandwich for their little ones.
That said, the chefs were really helpful and went out of their way to accommodate us. We had a very fussy 2.5-year-old with us and the chefs kindly cooked noodles for him, which we really appreciated!
🎶 Entertainment
We thought the entertainment was good, with plenty going on throughout the day, so there was always something to get involved in if you wanted to.
The mini disco was great for the children and our little one really enjoyed it. It would be nice to see a few more classic children’s songs added, such as Hokey Cokey and Chu Chu Wa, as these are always a hit with the younger ones!
Overall, there was a good variety of entertainment and activities throughout the day and evening.
👶 Family & Children
We had a really good experience as a family and there was plenty to keep our 2.5-year-old entertained. There is also a little park.
The pool, mini disco and daytime entertainment were the highlights for us. We do think the food could be adapted slightly more towards younger children, but the staff were very accommodating when we asked for something different.
🌳 Grounds & Hotel
The grounds were lovely and there was plenty of space to walk around and enjoy the hotel.
As the hotel is newly opened, there are a few areas that could benefit from some finishing touches and improvements, but we appreciate that these things take time and we’re sure the hotel will continue to develop.
👩🍳 Staff & Service
The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. A particular mention has to go to the chefs, who were more than happy to help with our fussy toddler and cooked him noodles when there wasn’t much he would eat from the buffet.
Little things like this really do make a difference when travelling with young children.
⭐️ Overall
Overall, we had a lovely holiday at Green Anatolia and made some great memories as a family.
There are definitely areas that could be improved, particularly the bathrooms, cleanliness of the rooms and variety of food, but we want to put this down as constructive criticism rather than negatives, especially as the hotel has only opened this year.
We’re sure that as time goes on, the hotel will take feedback on board and things will continue to improve. We would definitely be interested to see how the hotel develops over the next few years.
For a newly opened hotel, we had a lovely week and really enjoyed our holiday. ❤️
