AES Club Hotel

"This was our second visit to AES … our return visit was just as good as our first … the room was cleaned every day and the cleaners always left fresh water in the fridge and beautiful floral displays with our fresh towels … there was always plenty of options at meal times and the staff worked very hard to keep all areas of the hotel clean … apo and his team made sure everyone was kept entertained during the day and worked well into the evening/night despite some cold wet weather … absolutely love this hotel and all the staff … for us it’s like a home from home and we’ve already booked to come back next year …"

"We have stayed at this hotel for the past five years. Loved the vibe and the staff at the hotel were always helpful and smiling, however this year was a much different experience.We were a family of nine.Our room was nice and ground floor which was perfect as my wife is disabled. First issue was safe did not work and fridge leaked water, reported both and was told there was a problem with safes( never rectified) I asked for a spare room key card as my wife would sleep a few hours in the afternoon and was told a definite no, so it meant I would have to stay i with her or be locked out for a few hours. We had three children with us and this caused the following issues Children's park area was completely unsafe as their were nails sticking out of the climbing frame for the slides, stones in the toddler pool resulting in cuts to one of the children's foot, no kids club for 11 days out of the 14. At meal times we were sometimes restricted due to only three highchairs one of which was broken. Entertainment was non existent compared to our previous stays at the hotel although Apo done his best in a poor situation, Sammy the young guy behind the bar was really good, put him on the animation team.All the staff in the restaurant were lovely and friendly. Then come the worst bit, checking out I checked out and then came my daughter's turn, they said their was a problem with her room and then produced a stained sheet, there was a tiny mark on it which I could barely see and told her she would have to pay £25 charge, we questioned this and I have never been so humiliated in all my life by the bell boy behind the desk laughing and mocking me. I went to speak with management about the issue and both him and the blond girl behind the desk mocked me in front of my family and other guests while I was gone. There was another guest in reception who had been charged £25 for a marked towel After speaking to the girl at the desk again I told her the whole experience has spoilt my holiday I will never return, she replied with i don't care if you never come back, so end of an era....time to look for somewhere else...."

"This was the second time I have visited AES, some may say that the second time you visit a place that it isn’t as good but I have to say this wasn’t the case and if anything the hotel had improved. From the moment we arrived we received exceptional customer service, the staff are largely cheerful and will always go the extra mile to help wherever they can. They appear to all enjoy their job and take a great deal of pride in all they do. They also get breaks and days off which is lovely to see. The entertainments team have a great abundance of energy and put heart and soul into including everyone. A real highlight was a number of different countries all joining together to do the Turkish dancing. In a world with so much conflict moments like this are a real blessing and a memory to treasure. The food is absolutely wonderful with something for everyone and the chefs will cook your eggs to your preference and do beautiful omelettes. Their work stations are always immaculate and they look very presentable in their uniforms and open kitchen. Plates are cleared away instantaneously and tables wiped down so no issues with flies etc. The snack bar is very popular and the burgers are a 10/10. The cleaners deserve a medal working tirelessly in the heat ensuring everyone has a clean room to return to at the end of a fun day. The grounds are beautiful and again the gardeners ensure everywhere is looking spectacular. Thank you to all of the AES family we will miss you all and hope to return when we can.
