"Overall had a good experience with my girlfriend at this hotel. We were here for 7 nights, and i would come back again if it was suggested.
Dont expect the ritz! On our first impression the room seemed pretty dated. However they did have a nice charm to them, with everything you need ( dresser, comfy bed, hairdryer, kettle, nice sized bathroom) you also get a fridge full of free soft drinks and water, teas/ coffees etc. There are soaps on the walls.
Most the rooms have balconys which is nice, and the grounds are beautiful to walk through. We got lucky with our room (820), as it was tucked in the corner of the grounds near the relax pool. I can see how the location of some rooms could be a cause of disturbances though, especially if near the main pool and entertainment area if thats not your thing.
There are cats everywhere and the odd chicken roaming. Me and my girlfriend loved this, as they are friendly and cute looking. I wouldn't go stroking the cats too much just in case. They do come and join you during dinners fyi.
In September we had no issues getting a sun-bed near the main pool, and there is no big queues for anything really. Sun-beds don’t scream top quality and have a plastic cover but it does the job just put your towel on top! Pool is a good temp and big enough to do anything you need to. Around the pool area is a snack bar, and the guy who runs it does tasty burgers and pizzas. In the relax pool area there is a pancake lady who makes banging pancakes so give her a visit.
Drinks wise, pretty good. Free water everywhere so not a worry, soft drinks good. Spirits not premium, but the staff pour strong measures so you cant really complain. There are 3 main bars.
We had a lot of fun on the evenings watching the entertainment they put on and playing the odd game in the day. Muhammed (helps organise activities/entertainment) is really friendly and inclusive. Will have you chatting/ making friends with others quickly. Holiday reps are all sound as well, happy to help and book excursions + free transport from the hotel to places. We used this for orka world and billys beach on different days.
Other staff members can be hit or miss. At the start i got the impression of inattentive and rude, but as the week goes on they were all talkative, remembered you and your orders, and were happy to help.
Food is ok. Breakfast i thought was solid. We didnt really do lunch as we just used the snack bar by the pool or was out. Dinner has lots of variety, but some dishes can be a bit dry or lacking in flavour. Salad is good though. Id recommend going to the grill chef in the middle and stacking up on nice desserts.
This hotel is 4* rated but my girlfriend thought it had a 3* feel. Im not an expert myself but i see how it can be a 4* hotel, mainly due to an amazing location, right next to the beach. The hotel has a private area of free sun loungers on the beach (usually £15 anywhere else) which is a nice touch as you can take your alcoholic drinks there in plastic cups, chill and watch the sunset. The hotel is right next to the main strip, with lovely restaurants (tikki rooftop in amazing), lively bars (cherry pub etc), markets ( gifts and replica clothing), and tour operators.
We met a lovely guy called levey (butterfly paragliding) who we booked scuba diving and paragliding with. We had a blast and all was safe/ insured properly.
Overall, if you're looking to come to oludeniz, this hotel is a solid option. There is probably better, but probably worse. If you’re not picky about every meticulous detail then you'll have a good experience at this hotel. The location makes it worth staying here.
