"We arrived very late due to a delayed flight, but first impressions were great. The staff kindly carried our bags and gave us a warm welcome. Check-in was quick and the gentleman assisting us not only handled our luggage but also walked us to our room, gave us a short tour and explained the amenities.
Unfortunately, problems started soon after. The toilet flush jammed the first time we used it and continued to malfunction daily. Although staff repeatedly came to fix it, we were never offered a room change. Eventually, to avoid constant trips back to the lobby, we resorted to fixing it ourselves by lifting the cover and unjamming it manually.
Sleep was another challenge. On the first night (around 3 a.m) loud scraping noises (furniture being dragged above us) kept us awake, highlighting how poor the sound insulation was. The second night, an earthquake struck (of course, not the hotel’s fault) but it added to two very unsettled nights. The bedding didn’t help either: pillows were uncomfortable and the linens were so thin they felt closer to towels. We requested an extra blanket, but it still wasn’t comparable to a proper duvet. I ended up sleeping in a hoodie just to stay comfortable. While we understand lighter bedding may be common in Turkey, other hot destinations we’ve visited (Cyprus, Greece, UAE) still provided standard duvets.
That said, the room itself was a pleasant surprise. Based on the booking photos, we had expected something quite dated but instead we found a clean, spacious room with modern furnishings and a contemporary feel. Housekeeping was excellent throughout, with thoughtful touches like towel art and fresh flowers, something we haven’t even experienced in some five-star hotels.
The hotel grounds are stunning. We noticed one staff member spending the entire day meticulously maintaining the gardens, and his hard work showed - the landscaping was beautiful, peaceful and perfectly complemented the pool area. The pool was clean, well designed and lively without feeling crowded with plenty of loungers available.
We only tried breakfast, which was unfortunately underwhelming. The buffet leaned heavily toward salads, which felt more like lunch than breakfast and without the omelette station I would have struggled to find much to enjoy. Given the number of English guests, I was surprised there wasn’t at least the option of a cooked breakfast. The juice options were also disappointing, machine-dispensed and watered down, especially compared to the fresh juices we enjoyed elsewhere in Turkey. That said, the omelette chefs (two ladies and a gentleman) were a delight and made mornings more enjoyable with their friendliness.
Keeping in mind this is a three-star hotel, I wasn’t expecting luxury and overall it offered excellent value for money. The location on the strip was ideal, the staff were warm and welcoming, the pool and gardens were fantastic and the atmosphere was genuinely relaxing.
A special mention goes to Teoman, who at just 16 showed outstanding interpersonal skills and was always willing to help. He left a lasting impression and is a real credit to the hotel."
