"So we turned up to the hotel really late the staff were lovely very helpful, we were took to our room on the first floor next to the lift, first impression was very dated and dark, dirty floor and worn head board very tatty bathroom, looked nothing like the pictures. Didn’t get much sleep the whole time we were there as the lift was banging every time it was used which was a lot, was usually after 1am it stopped with the odd bang and then started again really early in the mornings, didn’t want to complain as I thought it would be pointless. First day went down for breakfast and was shocked at how basic the food was and also hardly much to choose from, this was the case for lunch and evening meal also for the whole week, the food was not good to be honest apart from the melon and deserts. This hotel is the worst I’ve been to for subbed, people get up at 4am and go and sleep on the sun beds so that they have one for the day, there are to many guests and not enough sun beds so you end up having to sit in the buffet bar on a chair allday. Our first day we had the pleasure of a drunk guest being sick in a cup in front of us and then guests trying to fight by the pool, I actually thought someone was playing a joke on us, this hotel is definitely not 4* more like 3* it is for a certain kind of guest. If your a smoker (which I’m not) then you will love it you can smoke anywhere around the hotel outside so be ready for a mouth full of smoke while eating. The only thing I can honestly say was good was the hair and beauty shop. Don’t expect entertainment all they did every night was a kids disco and bingo so was very repetitive. On our final night I had water dripping from the A/C unit onto my arms but I didn’t want to wake my family up so I waited until the morning to let the hotel staff know. We definitely wouldn’t go back to this hotel was very disappointing and not a good holiday at all."

"FIRST AND LAST TIME AT THIS HOTEL – DO NOT RECOMMEND This was honestly one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had. We travel a lot and we are not people with unrealistic expectations, but Julian Club Hotel was a huge disappointment. This was our first and last stay here, and I would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone. The biggest problem for me was the water. This is supposed to be an all-inclusive hotel, yet getting normal bottled drinking water felt like a struggle. There was no proper supply of bottled water for guests, and instead we were expected to refill bottles from dispensers. In an all-inclusive hotel in Turkey, I find this completely unacceptable. Then there are the sunbeds around the pool. There simply aren't enough for the number of guests. People are getting up ridiculously early to put towels on sunbeds and reserve them for the entire day. You arrive at the pool and have nowhere to sit. Instead of relaxing on holiday, you feel like you have to compete for a sunbed. Many are covered with towels and inflatable toys while the people who "reserved" them aren't even there. The pools are also far too crowded. With so many people packed into the pool area, it is difficult to relax and enjoy yourself. Another major problem is the atmosphere and behaviour of some guests. Unfortunately, the lack of basic manners and respect from some people was shocking. There was excessive shouting, swearing, loud behaviour and general disorder. At times the atmosphere felt completely inappropriate for a family holiday. The hotel should do much more to ensure that all guests can enjoy their holiday without having to put up with this kind of behaviour. The rooms also don't feel like the standard you would expect from a hotel advertising itself as a quality holiday resort. Some areas and rooms are clearly dated and in need of refurbishment. I will say that some members of staff work very hard and were friendly, and I don't blame the individual employees for the hotel's policies. However, good staff cannot compensate for poor management and poor organisation. Overall: ❌ No proper access to bottled drinking water ❌ Far too few sunbeds ❌ Guests getting up extremely early to reserve sunbeds ❌ Extremely crowded pool areas ❌ Loud and unpleasant atmosphere ❌ Some guests displaying completely unacceptable behaviour ❌ Dated rooms and areas of the hotel ❌ Very poor value for money in our experience Julian Club Hotel? Never again."

Firstly, I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who helped make our holiday enjoyable. ❤️ I’d like to start with the good points about the hotel, before mentioning a few areas where I feel the management could improve. 👍 THE GOOD • The food is good, and there is always something available to eat. • The staff work extremely hard, so a big thank you to all the staff. 👏 • The hotel is generally clean and well laid out. However, the building where we stayed is quite old and, in my opinion, feels more like a 2-star building, especially the section behind the outside restaurant. ⚠️ POINTS FOR MANAGEMENT TO IMPROVE • The swimming pools are far too small for the number of people using them. They become extremely crowded, with people jumping and diving in. Someone could easily get hurt. • There should be staff actively monitoring the pools to prevent jumping and diving and, more importantly, to improve safeguarding. • Please stop people entering the restaurant area wearing swimming clothes. • A better system is needed for food and drinks so guests aren't waiting in long queues. • The air conditioning in the rooms is very slow, and the reception area also needs proper air conditioning. • Wi-Fi should be included in an all-inclusive package. If there is an additional charge, £10–£20 would be more reasonable for the whole stay. Charging around £50 is ridiculous. • Paying £30 just to use the safe also needs to be reconsidered. Let's be realistic and look at these extra charges. • There are quite a lot of slippery areas around the hotel, including reception. People are coming straight out of the swimming pool and then walking into the hotel to get cakes, drinks and food. Proper non-slip flooring, warning signs and regular cleaning should be considered to prevent accidents. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 AND NOW, TO THE PARENTS & OTHER GUESTS... There is plenty of food available at the hotel, so please stop rushing and pushing around. Also, please stop wasting food. Take what you know you can actually eat. Don't fill your plate just for the sake of it and then leave half of it behind. Most importantly, please keep an eye on your own children. This is a hotel, not a theme park. One thing I have honestly never seen in my lifetime is people sleeping on sunbeds from around 1am just to reserve them for the next day. 😂 Come on, people — let's get real! That is incredibly selfish, and you're also teaching your children the wrong values. Fighting over sunbeds? Seriously? 🤦‍♂️ Whether you're here as a large group or a small family, everyone is equal at the hotel. I also think the hotel should remove towels that have been left on sunbeds overnight simply to reserve them. And this is also for those selfish people leaving towels on restaurant chairs and then going back into the pool, while other people are struggling to find somewhere to sit and eat their lunch. The same thing happens in the evening restaurant. The restaurant opens at 6:30pm, yet some people are putting towels and even shoes on chairs before 6pm, then disappearing and coming back around 7pm. Seriously, what is going on? 😂 You can't reserve a chair for yourself for over an hour while other guests are standing around looking for somewhere to sit. If you're not sitting there, leave the chair free for someone else. The hotel is for everyone — not just the people who get there first with a towel! A little consideration for other guests would go a long way. 👍 🇬🇧 FINAL THOUGHTS From my experience, this hotel clearly seems to be aimed mainly at British families. When I first walked in, I honestly thought I was in Ibiza or Magaluf! 😂 Overall, because I've experienced the good, the bad and the ugly, I'm giving the hotel 3 stars ⭐⭐⭐. One final point, and this is something I feel is important to mention from what I personally witnessed. I saw some British ladies going to local restaurants with their young children and accepting free drinks from local men. Afterwards, there were situations where women were reportedly being harassed. My advice is simple: please be careful, especially when you're travelling with young children. Don't put yourself or your family in situations where people may take advantage of your kindness. At the same time, I don't think it's fair to label all Turkish men as the same. Most importantly, everyone should respect boundaries, and anyone behaving inappropriately should be reported. This is something that should be taken seriously. Everyone should look after themselves and their families, and hotels and local businesses should also make sure guests feel safe and protected.
