"Big hotel very cleanand staff are great. The downside is the food is hit and miss. Even tho your in turkey ther were alot of turkish people staying in the hotel that were really rude. There were a few incidents a turkish woman telling my 14 year old daughter to move her chair even tho we was there 2 or 3 hours before that rat turned up. Manners cost nothing been marmaris 12 times and its the worst hotel as a family we have stayed in AVOID !"

"This was our 2nd stay at Easter and we returned due to our excellent holiday last year. Things weren’t quite the same this year: the weather wasn’t as hot (obviously not the hotel’s fault), fewer restaurants were open this year (the Italian near the pier didn't open at all) and 2 of my family were unwell with D&V while we were there. Starting with the positives: the staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms are well cleaned, the pier / jetty is a great area to sunbathe, the outdoor and indoor thermal pools in B block were warm (32-34 degrees), the gym is well-equipped and the hamams are fun. But….. I don’t eat gluten, try to minimise the amount of dairy I eat and I don’t eat meat. When you check in, you are asked to declare any allergies / intolerances and you are advised to speak to the ‘allergy’ staff in the main restaurant who can guide you to suitable foods. It sounds great in theory but it isn’t always easy identifying the individual and by the time I did, the rest of my family had usually finished eating. Once I found the right person though, they were usually able to supply a GF alternative. GF pancakes were a possibility for breakfast and I had these every morning, and there’s oat, almond and soya milk alternatives which you can request. GF rolls are available. Elvan is one of the allergy staff and she was efficient and helpful each time I encountered her. At lunch and dinner things weren’t as great. A lot of the options are meat, pasta, pizza, chips (they are not suitable for a GF diet), and out of approximately 20 desserts the only thing that’s GF is rice pudding. It’s available consistently every day, and it’s tasty but extremely repetitive. I took my own pasta with me and asked staff to boil it for me. This required 4 members of management to have a conversation then I was asked to write a disclaimer, absolving the hotel of any blame should I become ill after eating the pasta I eat multiple times a month at home. They undercooked it so it was inedible and this was when I reached the end of my (very hungry) tether. Rana from guest relations was called to try and placate me and she explained that I could specify what I would like to eat and chef would provide it. Things improved after that and they even made me a GF pizza from scratch, which was amazing. Rana also spoke to one of the a La carte restaurants so they could adapt the set menu, which I appreciated as it was a special evening with my family. If I could change anything it would be allergen-friendly options in the coffee bar (there’s no milk alternatives) and the Limon (cake / biscuit) cafe so that I could have enjoyed the same experience as my family. Luckily I’d taken GF snacks with me. Having an ‘allergy’ staff member at the front of the main restaurant, rather than having to wander round looking for someone, would speed up the process of requesting food and having more detailed information about allergens on each dish would help. I was told that in high season, there’s a GF / lactose free / allergy friendly restaurant in B block which would probably alleviate many of the issues I experienced."
