Milky Way Hotel & Apartments

"A last minute booking (6 days before we flew) and we are very happy with our break. We have been to Turkey before but not to here. Tyson was waiting for us at midnight when we arrived. He brought our luggage to our room and offered water, we asked about a beer and 4 promptly arrived. Because there are only a few clients staying here, brekkie was a very large plate with a Mediterranean style choice which did vary from day to day with some quite Turkish choices and always enough to keep us going throughout the majority of the day with tea and coffee. Only discovered the sour cherry juice at the end of our stay. The orange was too sweet for me. Only one pool filled but not a problem as the water was cold. Lovely colourful gardens with varied plants. We did eat at the hotel a couple of times, the lamb was sublime. On one occasion we asked them if they would cook a fish we had bought at the fish market, They did a great job. I think if the hotel was full it might have been difficult. We travelled about on the dolmus (local buses) easy and used credit card with no problem on them. All in all a great inexpensive holiday staff at the hotel were great and friendly."

"Soulless hotel at almost end of season ( first week of october) Very quiet with few guests in residence. Rooms were not clean , under beds particularly. Room was not cleaned daily and beds not changed all week. Pool area tired and unappealing , gardens and outdoor area uncared for and scruffy. Spent very little time here and felt the need to be out of the hotel from morning til late evening due to this . Would not choose to stay here again. 8th visit to the area and it's very much declined in appeal due high costs of tourist targeted food and drink prices in olu Deniz and Hisaronu these days."

"Cheap n cheerful Tui holiday bed n breakfast nice greeting on arrival hotel clean room little on the small side but adequate with mini fridge and kettle. Two pools one near music from bar area quite one which we used the most though beds and umbrellas tired n need replacement. Be prepared for noise from chickens N cockerels gardens could be lovely with some attention . Breakfast poor offering but for price couldn't really complain . You cannot pay for drinks etc at bar everything is charged to your room . So purchased water and sundries fron supermarket just outside hotel. Traveled with 83 mum so the walk to local restaurants down hill too much great that you can press a button at hotel entrance and a taxi arrives didnt wait more than 5 mins . Just one main rd with bars restraunts and usual tourist tat shops nothing to write home about No entertainment on offer at holel. Outside hotel try the Turtle restaurant great entertainment and atmosphere hats of to the chef who single handed caters for full house on entertainment evenings we used the pool there also for 3 days just purchased drinks . WUD we go back to hotel No although we enjoyed the rest . Staff were pleasant enough though the regulars were a little clicky . Don't go here expecting to find any culture it's a little soulless."
