FIVE-STAR ESCAPE NEAR GOCECK MARINA
Enjoy the finer things in life at the D Resort Gocek – a classy five-star property surrounded by stunning greenery and located in an upmarket resort near the Turkish coastline.
A private beach boasting soft sands and sweeping views of azure-blue waters will soon become your favourite place to hang out. It’s just a kilometre away and easily reached thanks to regular shuttle buses from the hotel. For something a bit closer to home, you can always take a dip in the outdoor pool, which comes with a kids’ section and a nearby bar.
Ready to relax even further? Head to the hotel spa, which boasts a steam room, sauna, a Turkish bath, heated indoor pool with bubbling Jacuzzi, and a treatment room where you can book an invigorating massage. There’s also a fully-equipped gym so the option to work up a sweat is always there if you fancy it.
Foodies, meanwhile, will love it here. Take your pick from a Mediterranean à la carte restaurant, an Asian eatery, and an international restaurant that puts on a huge buffet spread at breakfast followed by table service at lunch and dinner. Two of the restaurants are also found on the beach, so you get a side order of sweeping sea views with your evening meal.
And when you’re ready to venture out, you’ll find the tranquil yachting marina just a five-minute stroll from the hotel. There’s plenty to explore further inland, too, including high-end boutique shops, restaurants, and bars.
