Villa Dolunay Apartments

"We had a great time at Villa Dolunay. Our first trip to Dalyan as a family and we will most certainly be back. The apartments were basic but had everything we needed - we were fortunate to be on the ground floor so was perfect for our young children! The owners were great - our kids were comfortable enough to pop and get ice creams and tell them so we could pay (a small note, you need cash as they don’t take card). Breakfast was delicious, fresh and a great selection bought to us everyday - the young man is a credit to the owners. A short walk to town, so lovely and quiet - supermarket close by. Overall a fantastic stay and we will be back - thank you!"

"I visited these apartments with a group of nine people and can honestly say this is the worst place I have ever stayed. The manger was the rudest most unhelpful man I have ever met. The rooms were very basic. Bed rock hard. Sheets and towels disgusting. I had an apartment with myself, a teenage boy (15) and girl (17) with only 2 double beds, no singles. This meant my son had to move into another family members apartment so he could have his own bed. These are not family rooms. No water most afternoons in the attic rooms. Our family had 2 rooms in the attic and between 5pm and 8pm most afternoons they had no water whatsoever and had to use other families rooms. When brought to the attention of the manager he just shrugged it off and said it’s the water pressure nothing I can do. These apartments should not be let if there is no running water for any amount of time. Pool area chaos by 7am all sunbeds taken with towels on and no people on them. In all the apartments were poor but the management was terrible. Rude, arrogant, did not engage with guests and sat around drinking efes. I felt very uncomfortable and unwanted in this place. This is not my usual Turkish experience. Dolunay should not rent out rooms if they do not know how to treat guests properly"

"Villa Dolunay Apart Hotel Dalyan Don’t come 1073669039 We have just come home from this place. I can honestly say it is the worst place I have ever stayed in. The manager/owner rude and arrogant first night arrived no bar open couldn’t even buy water after travelling for 12 hours he sent us to a nearby hotel in the pitch black didn’t have a clue were we were. Day2 sun bed wars the hotel was too crowded 2 rooms in the attic had no water pressure most days. Rooms only cleaned once in 12 days. Towels and sheets were only changed once and not very nice. Beware you can’t use card to pay. I don’t know how Jet2 can give 3 stars and call them luxury apartments they are not. My room was filthy and tiny couldn’t even open bathroom door without it smashing into toilet this is not Jet2 standard and I will be complaining. I have saved all year for this holiday and feel so disappointed after coming home. Been to Turkey many times lovely friendly people and Dalyan is beautiful. I have never written a review before but felt the need to do this sorry for upsetting people but we all save so hard for our well deserved holiday not to come home feeling upset."
