"Beautiful hotel! We loved our stay for the most part – loved the restaurants and everything available to us on property. Also, a special shoutout to our ambassador, Baruk. He was amazing! For couples who are going without kids, it is kid-tastic! Kids screaming at the top of their lungs at the pool and beach (despite part of the beach being Silence Beach). But really what was a shame was the service at the pool and beach. We love Mandarins and stay wherever we can, but the service at the pool and beach was a D and that is being generous. Any time we wanted anything, we'd have to go to the back where the staff was to chase them down and they'd be all chatting and on their phones. Then when it didn't come, get up and go find someone again, etc. We asked the last day 3x for a beer. Still haven't received. So many more examples of hunting ppl down and ordering and things not arriving. It almost felt like it was the end of the season and they just couldn't be bothered. Just frustrating for such a high caliber hotel and really shouldn't be the case. At one point, we thought we were being punked. With Bulgari opening nearby, I should think an adults only pool area would be really important to get couples to have a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Without one, it's a deal breaker for couples going without kids. Would definitely stay again and will probably be back soon but with these few tweaks in place. It's such a special place and it's a shame for it to be tarnished in any way with bad service at the pool/beach and not having a peaceful adults only pool area."

"This hotel is absolutely beautiful. The grounds are green and lush. The food was incredible. We stayed for 5 nights and opted for the one bedroom apartment which perfectly suited our family of 4. The room was very spacious and cleaned twice daily. It also had a washing machine which was wonderful. There is two beaches of which I would highly recommend Lucca with its soft sand and clear water. There are plenty of dining options to cater for everyone. Watch out for Gigi - while delicious there far too many "influencers" ruining the vibe and taking photos everywhere!! The only downside of the hotel is the large crowds that come through from about lunchtime onwards. A lot of external people come through to visit the shops and to dine. While the hotel is lovely and calm in the morning, come the evening I wanted to hide in our apartment. The lobby is chaos and it feels the staff don't know who are guests of the hotel and who are visiting. The food and beverages are also overpriced but you know that before arriving so you expect it."
