"Great family holiday – exceptional staff and guest relations Duja Bodrum, Torba, Turkey | 9–23 August 2026 We spent 14 nights at Duja Bodrum in Torba, from 9–23 August 2026. My wife and children arrived on 9 August and enjoyed the first five days before I joined them on 14 August for the remaining nine nights. Overall, we had a great family holiday and left with very happy memories. The resort is in a beautiful setting with plenty to enjoy. The main buffet always offered a good choice, although some of the food was quite average on occasions and became a little repetitive over a two-week stay. The standard buffet wines were also fairly average. Before booking, we had specifically confirmed that a particular wine would be available, but unfortunately it wasn't. This is where Didem, the Guest Relations Manager, was exceptional. Didem immediately understood our disappointment and took responsibility for resolving it. She arranged the wine we had expected, organised à la carte meals on many evenings, giving us welcome variety from the buffet, and even arranged a complimentary cabana. She was warm, professional and genuinely interested in making sure we enjoyed our holiday. Her Guest Relations team were equally helpful and accommodating. The restaurant staff were also excellent. Most spoke good English, some exceptionally well, and their professionalism and friendliness made our mealtimes particularly enjoyable. A special mention must go to Caner ("Sarı Kafa" – Yellow Head) in the main restaurant. His English was impeccable, he was extremely professional and had a great sense of humour. He developed a lovely rapport with our family and was someone we genuinely looked forward to seeing at mealtimes. We would also like to thank Berkant at Reception, who was always professional, helpful and approachable and spoke excellent English. Fishing and water sports We used Class Water Sports, an external company operating at Duja, for a morning fishing trip and afternoon jet skiing. We had great fun fishing, catching around 16 fish, and the fishing and water-sports equipment was of a good standard. We also enjoyed 30 minutes of jet skiing, and the staff kindly allowed us to share the experience with three of our children, which was much appreciated. We did experience a few issues with Class Water Sports, particularly as the size of the fishing boat provided was not what we had originally agreed upon. However, we thoroughly enjoyed the activities themselves. Duja's Guest Relations team handled our concerns quickly and professionally, which further reinforced our positive impression of the resort's staff. Overall No resort gets everything right, especially over a 14-night stay. What impressed us was how Duja responded when things weren't right. The staff turned our initial disappointments into a very enjoyable and memorable family holiday. A huge thank you to Didem, Caner and Berkant, together with the Guest Relations, restaurant, reception and security teams. Their professionalism, friendliness and genuine hospitality were a major part of what made our holiday so enjoyable. We would happily recommend Duja Bodrum and would certainly consider returning."

"An unusually picturesque hotel with a well-kept area. I want to thank the hotel staff for the vacation, especially the receptionist who offered a room according to my wishes. I want to note the friendly attitude and willingness to help. If you are coming to enjoy the sea, beautiful views, swimming, and relaxing with the Relax program, then this is the place for you. Walks through picturesque streets, Buggy rides with a rush, silence, and tranquility! I really liked the SPA with a well-heated sauna and hammam, as well as the relaxation area with a sea view. Imported drinks in full assortment. Slightly tired numbers, but this doesn't spoil the overall impression if the room itself has good views (that's more important to me). If we talk about food, you won't go hungry, but you won't find gourmet dishes either. Fish is enough in all cooking methods. There is no animation as such, there were two performances in the amphitheater, then live music for the Turks. So, if you want to party, you need to go to Bodrum, it's a half-hour ride on a minibus from the hotel. I recommend this hotel if you are not demanding. I wish the hotel an update and grateful tourists!"
