"We just returned from this hotel. I don't as an but sceptical as seen few negative comments, but we didn't experienced anything written in them. Rooms were clean and tidy up on daily basis. In the fact the food which was served in main restaurant was the best from all the hotels I visited so far, this is my personal opinion and meet my culinary preferences. There is an three side restaurants which works like snack bars and offer something as ala carte menus. In the bar you have range of cocktails and branded alcohol so probably you will find something what you like. We're not an fun of the swimming pool an noise around so we choose an beach with cristal clear water. As our visit was on the end of the season there was no issue's with spaces on sunbeds."

"We have just returned from a 7 night stay at Selectum Colours Bodrum. We had a fantastic time. The hotel is spacious, views are great, food is great, the majority of staff are friendly, the beds are comfortable and the pool is lovely despite its low temperature at this time of year. I am very surprised at some of the negative reviews to be honest and after reading some of them before we arrived, we we were a little nervous. We loved it! The beach was lovely and waters warm, beds were avaliable at all times here and at the pool. The staff were constantly cleaning and polite. We ate at the various restaurants avaliable, all with fantastic sea views and waiter service. We enjoyed the 247 restaurant the most. The drinks for the children were actual fresh juice and they enjoyed snacking on waffles, toasties, hotdogs, baked potatoes, ice cream and fruit throughout the day by the large pool. Music around the pool was nice and chilled, the kids loved the slides and the small games room is a useful space. Yes there are a lot of cats, but we saw more people than not, actually fussing over them. The entertainment could be better but we put this down to being the end of season. There are a lot of food choices and you can easily get something to eat and drink at anytime of the day and we didn't find any of it cold like some people have mentioned! The room, although dated and heavily trafficked was clean and tidy with a minibar/ fridge topped up daily and the maid was very helpful and polite. I hope this review helps because we cannot fault the place. It was great. We would definitely return. Thanks for having us. (Don't forget to try the desserts in the lobby and the gazlome right on the beach between 11am and 4pm)"

"Myself and my husband booked this resort for 6 nights with BA Holidays for travel last week of october. We were very lucky as the weather was absolutely gorgeous 😍 The resort itself it very nice and picturesque however the rooms are dated and need an update. We had quite a few mosquitos in our room, something you're not expecting to see in a 5* hotel. Being vegetarian we really struggled to get a decent meal, most of the time we ended up with bread, chips and salad. There is a 24 hour restaurant near the beach which serves pizza, pasta however it was full of cats roaming around and jumping on chairs and tables, something which is unacceptable and very unhygienic. They also were walking around in the main dining hall. The staff didn't think it was an issue. On a positive note the drinks all around the resort are pretty good for an all inclusive which is rare as most of the all inclusive hotels water down the alcohol. There is a local bus which takes you to Bodrum city charging around 80P which was great as the taxis seemed to charge around £10. It's a real shame that the hotel is being let down because of the amount of cats"
