"In May it was great, in July good, now in October unacceptable. - Room (despite "upgrade," thanks!) old, unkempt, no cleaning for at least 3 days, linen change only upon request, bathrooms not cleaned, only towels changed - condition of bathroom in 4.5-star design :-( see photos - Service inattentive, unfriendly (exception Taner, Özkan, all in the lobby bar) - Beach was cleared of seaweed and trash on day 4; the trash bags with contents were still on the beach on day 10 - Gastronomy: Lunch at the beach bar was okay, but for example, despite asking, there was no tuna for the salad for days, even though it was available on the buffet in the evening. Evening buffet very bad: really the same mezze every evening, no fresh preparation of meat or fish, everything in the steam of the bain-marie Note: In May, we were in one of the few (cheapest) renovated rooms, which, however, seemed properly clean and well-maintained at that time. In October, however, the dwindling staff deployment, the complete demotivation of the remaining service staff, the minimal effort in gastronomic supply, and the general lack of care in guest relations cannot be explained by the approaching end of the season. A real shame, a complete major renovation would be long overdue; currently, the hotel has a maximum of 3 stars, if you turn a blind eye to everything."

"Lovely located hotel for Bodrum. We arrived before check in and our room was available. Reception area very clean and spacious. We were shown to our room. Nice size and we had a fantastic view of pool and beach/harbour. Room was spotless and we had a fridge with soft drinks and water which was replaced every day. Rooms were cleaned daily and we had fresh towels. Pool and beach areas are nice and water is crystal clear. Restaurant was clean and there is a reasonable choice. The orange juice was lovely and fresh bread daily. Evening buffett was a nice selection and there is something for everyone although some things were the same. Staff are friendly although if you tip the waiters you get more of a personal service. The young waiter at the pool bar was very polite and did not expect a tip. Yes the hotel could do with some updating in places. Especially the pool toilets. The pool and restaurant cleaning staff are a bit too clean to get on with the jobs before service finishes. The water taxi near the hotel is a fantastic way to get into Bodrum. We would visit again and i am sure they will update the decor. Some people moaned about the cats however they did not really pester you unless you feed them and no vermin to be seen. Thank you Salmakis for a lovely holiday"
