Tuntas Beach Hotel Altinkum

"Absolutely love it been coming for many years to Tuntas hotel. Fantastic management and staff food fabulous wouldn’t go anywhere else so many British and Turkish friends meet up every year. Brilliant staff can’t do enough to help my husband is partly disabled and everyone from the boys in the restaurant to the pool staff bar are always at hand to help reception team are fantastic Housekeepers keep our rooms spotless especially Nilgun with fruit and flowers in our room Pelin is fab with the brill entertainment. Also Erhan on the beach and jetty can’t do enough to help us With grateful thanks also to Mustafa Cem, and the manager Sadik and his family absolutely brilliant the beach is fantastic and the jetty whew what can I say So much to see. Can’t wait for next May xxxx"

"Let’s start with the positives, the location was great,right on the beach, the shops and restaurants were only a short walk away, the waiting and bar staff were reasonably good when not on their phones.Thats the positives,now for the negatives,first off the food was awful, every meal was cold, the dishes were repetitive,the only cold meat available for the salad was spam, plastic chicken slices or pastrami,the sweets were cakes,cakes and more cakes, there was one sort of fresh fruit.the soup was about the only hot dish, to be fair the salad bar ( breakfast,lunch and dinner) was always the same but a good variety. Next, the water in our rooms from the tap was always cold,if you were lucky you may get a Luke warm shower. The cleaning of our room ,clean bedding and towels only happened if you asked at reception despite putting out your request on your door. The internet was very intermittent,you could be connected one minute then disconnected next. The swimming pool was 3 metres deep all the way around so if you couldn’t swim then you couldn’t use the pool. We found that 90% of the guests were Turkish so obviously everything was geared towards them, us English were not really given any consideration. Would I go there again? DEFINITELY NOT. As for their star rating I would give it 1 and that’s only because of its location."

"Good value for money. The best part is it's right on the beach. The food is good. The staff are helpful. Room cleaning was mediocre, that's all. I'm thinking of coming again."
