Family-friendly hotel in sunny Turkey
The Saadet Hotel makes perfect base for you and the gang, and it’s less than a 15-minute stroll to the nearest stretch of sand. A visit to the Temple of Apollo is a must! Just hop on the bus there – there's a bus stop a few metres from the hotel.
Start your day right by getting a Turkish breakfast at the hotel’s restaurant, which serves Turkish and international dishes. If you want to sample the nearby restaurants – try Değirmen, known for its traditional Turkish and Mediterranean dishes, all made from locally grown, organic ingredients.
There’s plenty of fun to be had at the hotel – play a game of table tennis, or take a shot at darts. If you’re in the mood to chill out, bask in the sun on the loungers surrounding the pool, and go for a dip when you need to cool off. Feeling thirsty? Not to worry, the poolside bar will help quench your thirst.
The hotel boasts spacious family rooms, which is perfect if you’re travelling in a larger group. Rooms are decorated in whites and reds with wooden floors.
Please note: Twin rooms contain a camp bed for the third guest.
Please note that air conditioning and in-room fridges are available for a fee.

Find out more about Altinkum
The name ‘Altinkum’ translates into English as ‘golden sands’, so you probably already have a reasonable idea of what to expect from this happy suntrap on Turkey’s Aegean coast. The resort’s three main beaches slope gently into the balmy sea. If you arrive early enough to bag a decent sunlounger, you’ll find little reason to move all day, as vendors are happy to bring coffee and snacks directly to wherever you find yourself working on your tan.
