"We stayed at Kremlin Palace in Antalya for eight days in April 2026 as a family, and overall we had a very enjoyable experience, largely thanks to the excellent staff and facilities for children.
Outstanding Service
From the moment we arrived, the service stood out. We were allocated a staff member called Neha, who was incredibly helpful. She ensured our luggage reached the room quickly, showed us around, and even went above and beyond by booking restaurants for us (including the Italian and Turkish restaurants).
She also gave us a WhatsApp contact for guest relations, which proved very useful throughout our stay. Any requests—whether it was arranging an iron or sourcing English-style tea bags—were handled quickly and efficiently. When we had issues with the air conditioning (due to seasonal settings), they promptly provided fans to make us more comfortable. Overall, guest relations were excellent.
Food & Dining
The food variety was fantastic, with something available almost all the time—burgers, waffles, ice cream, and more between main meal times. Restaurant staff were always friendly and accommodating, and service was consistently good.
Great for Kids
The children’s facilities were a real highlight. The play area spanned two floors and included:
* A PlayStation zone for older kids
* Climbing and playground equipment
* A basketball area
* A Lego workshop
* Indoor climbing areas
Our children loved it, and the staff there were helpful and engaging. The water park, once opened after the weather improved, was another big hit.
Facilities
The indoor swimming pool area was excellent, especially on rainy days, with a main pool, kids’ pool, and jacuzzi. Staff were attentive and always ready with towels.
Areas for Improvement
While we had a great stay, there are a few areas where the hotel could improve:
* Maintenance: The hotel shows signs of wear in places (e.g. missing tiles, paintwork, window frames). It feels like it was once top-tier and could return to that standard with some attention to detail.
* Beach Works: There was repair work happening on the beach due to prior weather damage. While understandable and not the hotel’s fault, the noise and machinery (e.g. diggers) did affect the experience. It would have been helpful if this had been communicated in advance.
* Children’s Area Safety: Although the play area itself is fantastic, security could be tighter. It felt like anyone could walk in, even though children are sometimes left in staff care. A more controlled entry system (e.g. ID checks or parent verification) would improve peace of mind. Also, there were cats (including kittens) in the area—while children found them interesting, it raised some hygiene and safety concerns.
Gym - decent opening hours but a bit small and equipment quite old. Towels and water provided
* Religious Considerations: As Turkey is a Muslim-majority country, it would be beneficial if the hotel offered guidance or facilities for Friday prayers (e.g. transport to a local mosque). Additionally, tea and coffee were served in bar areas where alcohol is handled, which may be a concern for some Muslim guests. A separate serving area for tea/coffee for same extended hours could be a thoughtful improvement.
* Location: The hotel is somewhat isolated. Local shops require a short bus ride (around 10 minutes), and reaching Antalya city centre takes about an hour. While buses are inexpensive, they can get crowded.
Overall
Despite a few shortcomings, we had a lovely family holiday. The staff were the standout feature—friendly, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile. With some improvements in maintenance and a bit more attention to safety and inclusivity, this hotel could easily match its five-star potential.
Rating: 4/5
Would recommend for families, especially those with young children."
