"We booked here largely on the strength of the reviews on Tripadvisor and are so glad we did. All the superlatives are true and this is a fantastic resort in every aspect. Clearly a lot of thought went into the design and furnishing of the villas. There is not a thing they have not thought of and the specification is suitably high-end. The service provided by every staff member was superb: from the team that responds to WhatsApp (almost instantly) to the staff that look after you so well in the Bayou Lounge/Weik Restaurant and room service. The Beach Pavilions are a wonderful included extra: a tranquil haven on a secluded part of the beach with the same fantastic Bayou service. Overall, it’s a fantastic blend of secluded luxury with the benefit of access to the wider variety of options offered by the Lara Barut resort. Yes, there is an extra cost to staying here over the main resort but it is definitely worth it. For us it’s a case of when, not if, we return."

"From the beginning to the end flawless experience, superb facilities and even better service. We booked a 2-bedroom villa and upon arrival we got upgraded without asking to a 3-bedroom one. The villa was opulent, both in size and decoration. The 2 pools were amazing, we hugely enjoyed the lagoon pool with the cold water. As to the service, all our requests were treated as a priority. Everyone from the cleaning staff through the teams in the restaurants to the reception staff were top notch: kindness, politeness and efficiency could not be better. A huge thank you to the Bayou Villas team, we cannot wait to return!!"
