"Where do I start this hotel isn't 5 stars only 4 in our eyes. Rooms are dated from 2 years ago. Towels hard, we've had duvet cover with holes in, bottom sheets didn't fit the bed, cut fingers on uneven tiles in bathroom. Wood work around doors are rotten. Plug cover hanging off. It's lost the wow factor. The staff makes this hotel. We've made some wonderful workers Harun (restaurant) he always looked after us. The guy in lobby bar wears a black shirt, (lovely guy who called my husband Dad as we meet him before. Ali who works in lobby bar great young guy. Small Lady cleaner in restaurant Suno she so sweet and works so hard and friendly. Too many managers walking around doing nothing. (could take some pressure of staff by helping- picking up glasses for washing, cleaning tables etc ) Pier is unavailable at this time lost the wood huts with old water hot tubs. So beach is all closed off. Beach is very pebble so shoes needed. Slides were open for 1 hour between 13.-00-14-00. Beach towels don't get cards anymore just left in room. Think this is a good idea. The big let down for this hotel is the amount of cats this places have and people feeding them when told NOT to, we had cats spraying in the restaurant. Husband sat down in restaurant Sunday night and the sofa was wet and smelt of cat pee. Not acceptable. Yes hotel said would send the trousers to the dry cleaners but the trouser weren’t suitable for dry cleaning. Everywhere you go in the hotel you can smell cat pee. Lobby bar -ginger cat Saturday was around the piano spraying and on stage. Entertainment-piano/flute/violin could do with changing same stuff repeated all the time. Mickeys Coffee bar - very nice from coffee to iced teas, cakes and sandwiches served too. Can’t remember the guy name in the photo is so sweet remembered us from 2 years ago. Trucks on a lunches have changed since we was they not as many and when raining they try and do some off the food in the restaurant. Not the same! Small Variety of cakes / deserts at lunchtime and even more at nighttime.-Red velvet was to die for! Ice cream shop closed but have being serving it and lunchtime between the hours of 1.30-4pm and at evening meal time. Our best flavour was lemon or vanilla with chocolate chips in. The chocolate shops is NOT available anymore which we thought was a let down. Opening up sometime in April as something else. Personally think this space would be good for more seats for George's bar which is very small and have bar stools in corridor (uncomfortable) George bar - does have a pool table and does Karaoke on a certain night. No Guinness or larger on pump anymore. Beach Bar - was closed does have a pool table here too. Al carte are €40 per person book at guest relations or see guy near wine bar. Jet2 customers do get Turkish al carte free it’s on a Sunday night. Please be careful in the restaurant as one of legs on a chair snapped on me and you can see loads of them being glued back together. Manager Al is a lovely friendly guy who will listen to concerns, sits in lobby bar so you can just go speak to him about anything. Shop downstairs sell everything from crisps to clothing ,sandals,trainers,bags Jewellery shop on side - 2 lovely guys who run it. Market day is Thursday Kemer town centre good 30 mins walk out of the hotel turn left keeping going until us come to the women white head in road then go left to bottom off the road turn right and it’s up at the end of that road. Shops just 10 mins walk away left out of hotel to traffic lights. Did email guest relations before we came as it was our wedding anniversary for them to do some special for us but didn’t do anything. Late check out room is €20 per hour"

"We have had a bit of a hectic 6 months and just need a wee break to unwind a bit . We have visited turkey a number of times but not Kemer . Having done a fair bit of research and gone through comparisons of different hotels we booked here and we were not disappointed . Our needs might not be the same as others as we weren’t that bothered about getting a suntan / doing trips etc but the hotel turned out to be really good for us to just chill . We knew that March is before the official season starts and that the weather wouldn’t be what it can be ( never go to turkey in August the heat is unbearable ) some days were sunny others cloudy and a storm hit on our last day . Great start to our holiday was a mini van transfer straight to the hotel no big bus with 8 stops which is what happened when we went to Side a number of years ago . Reception staff were welcoming and professional we were offered an upgraded room but it was 150 euro so we declined . Our Mountain View room 118 did look out over the car park as well as the mountains but as the balcony didn’t get any sun and our neighbouring guests in nearby floors / rooms were smoking in their balcony we never used it . The rooms are a good size and nicely decorated having a mini bar and tv with limited English channels . The bathroom was decent with a powerful shower and good size towels . The pool was freezing and we never used it . The slides were only open for restricted times but again we were there out of high season I’m guessing they well be open more in the summer . One complaint and I’m surprised at this was the sunbeds are really uncomfortable . I don’t if the hotel has pads and didn’t put them out in case it rained and they got wet or the financial cost has stopped them doing so . If they don’t have them they need to buy some . There is a really nice area for sunbathing down at the beach ( which is very pebbly and awkward to walk on without shoes ) . The boards were being extended and replaced and this became our go to place when it was sunny . The indoor pool is ok but the temperature when we visited was one of those were you tell yourself it will be ok once your in ) . the George pub has two tvs and a pool table and tuborg gold beer which was surprisingly good . The Ibiza bar is located just up from the beach and has a huge stage / screen which I’m sure will be full of shows etc in the summer but is totally spoiled by people smoking ( smoking is a bugbear for me and my holidays have been plagued over the years by entitled smokers from across the world who I’ve learned have a universal attitudes of .. I will smoke where and when I want no matter how it affects others ) . The main lobby bar is very good and I’m told by my wife that the cocktails and rose wine were decent . I only drink beer so I can’t comment on the quality of the spirits . The main restaurant is split into a couple of different areas and is nicely decorated however it is the same the world over in all inclusive hotels they can feel a bit like a canteen / bee hive this one is much much better than others I have experienced . The food on offer was varied and plentiful. The hotel is trying to cater for a wide range of nationalities / cultures and does this pretty well . If your looking for a full English breakfast and steak pie and chips for your dinner this hotel is not the one . The novel food idea is the little catering trucks outside which vary from Thai to pasta to waffles etc etc . The rolling kebab and schnitzel trucks opened just as we were reaching the end of our holiday and were my personal favourites ( isn’t that always the way ) . The biggest plus this hotel has is its staff . Every single person we encountered was a credit to the hotel . ( whoever is doing the HR is doing a great job ) . In every bar / food place etc the service was friendly and welcoming . I don’t know if the hotel has an employee of the month thing ? if it doesn’t it should because there would be lots of contenders my suggestion would be sul tan the wee cleaning lady in the restaurant who came every morning to say hello . A credit to the hotel . The biggest gripe / moan is the smoking . The hotel has leaflets in the rooms saying it is a non smoking hotel which I understand . What they really don’t want you to do is smoke in the room . So there is an ashtray and a box of matches on the balcony . Please take these away and make balcony’s non smoking . The area outside the George bar and the main lobby are also areas where people smoke and yes there are automatic doors to try and stop the smell invading inside but it doesn’t work . Worst of all is the area where the wee catering vans are . I hate people sitting nearby smoking while I’m trying to eat . A suggestion / solution is to give smokers an area to congregate and enjoy each others company while thinking of the holiday enjoyment of non smoking guests is perhaps to use the circular area just outside the main entrance . It already has nice comfortable seating and is a good size . Just a thought .. rant about smokers / smoking over can I just say it’s obvious the hotel have made efforts to address this issue because I have stayed in a lot of hotels where no effort is made and the usual reply is it’s a cultural thing / we can’t enforce it etc etc . Overall we had a really great time and will definitely be back perhaps in the later part of the year to try and get a more sunny week . Just not in August . Ignore the bad reviews . overall this is a good hotel on a par with the Melia jardins del teide in Tenerife where we stayed last December"
