Royal Garden Beach Hotel

"We stayed at the hotel for 10 nights, the initial first impression of the hotel is good but this is not a 5 star hotel. Room was basic and needs some attention, shower doors let a lot of water out and the actual hose leaked. The hotel needs a bit of touching up in most places, there were cracked tiles all over and areas that needed some tlc. Food was ok, but a lot of it was very bland. Lunch around pool and beach area was the same every day with one dish changed. Drinks not the greatest either really, alcohol was pretty basic. Staff around the hotel not the friendliest and would stand and chat amongst themselves whilst you waited for a drink. WiFi in the hotel was appalling, max speed of 5mps, and that’s when it actually worked. It would always drop out and you could never get a constant stream. Would not return to this hotel and feel that the 5 start rating is way off."

"The hotel is generally suitable for families with children. The staff is polite and the cleanliness is well maintained — the team works hard to keep everything tidy. The beach is rocky, so it’s best to bring water shoes. There are many activities for kids, which is a plus. However, I was extremely disappointed with the service at the lobby bar. One evening (around 10:00 PM, on 29.09.2025, at the lobby bar in the main building), I asked for warm milk for my child — a very basic request, especially for an ultra all inclusive hotel. The male staff members refused to help. At first, they pretended not to understand what I was asking for, even though other guests tried to explain it in different languages. When I showed them the machine myself, they still ignored me and made no effort to assist. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable for an ultra all inclusive hotel. Families with young children should be able to count on basic assistance and respectful service."

"Arrived just after midnight. Initial impression of hotel was good until we got taken to our room across the road to the shabby annexe building. I had stated that it was our honeymoon and requested a double bed. We had been allocated a twin room overlooking a bit of waste ground. There was an outdoor nightclub close by and even though the balcony doors were closed, you could still hear every beat until 3:40 a.m. In the morning we complained to guest relations and contacted easyjet. When you book a standard double with Easyjet they do not state that it will be in the annexe. Between them they sorted it out and we were moved to a lovely room in the main building complete with complimentary wine, fruit and a breakfast in bed. A big thank you to the lovely ladies at guest relations and the daytime reception staff who were so helpful. Can't complain about anything else: Pools lovely and clean, loungers comfy, lots of food options. I am a non meat eater and found plenty of choices. Pizza from beach snack bar is lovely. We always used the restaurant in the premium building for dinner as it was a bit quieter. Drinks plentiful and the staff in the reception bar will make you any cocktail you ask for. Is it a 5 star - probably not because of the annexe but we eventually had a lovely time."
