Back up at the hotel you’ll have pools to suit every mood, too. Six pools – including a relax number that's age-restricted (15+) if you fancy a quiet afternoon – are scattered amongst the trees, and that doesn’t include another three that are home to a selection of water slides, plus the dedicated kids’ pool. On top of all that there’s an indoor pool that’s reserved just for Platinum guests.

When you’re not too busy making a splash, you might enjoy an hour or two of pampering at the spa. Indulge in a massage or treatment, or just spend a bit of me-time unwinding in the sauna – either way it’s time well spent. There’s also a tennis court and a well-equipped gym on-site, so you’ll have plenty to fill you days, as will your little ones. A kids’ club, playground, and even a mini amusement park are sure to make for hours of fun for them – and maybe even hours of peace for you.

The choice of restaurants is a real winner, too. A generous buffet is the name of the game in the main restaurant, which is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Elsewhere a handful of à la carte restaurants cover off Greek, Italian, Mexican and Lebanese cuisine. For early-afternoon snacks make sure and stop by Gözleme for a traditional Turkish savoury pancake, or grab a bite from the poolside bar. Drinks, meanwhile, are well taken care of between the beach bar, lobby bar, and Irish pub.
