Cruise-ship style hotel near the Tunisian coastline
Situated in the up-and-coming resort of Yasmine Hammamet on Tunisia’s northern coast, the Laico Hammamet Hotel makes an instant impression with its luxury liner looks. It’s perfectly set up for families, too, thanks to its host of five-star facilities and close proximity to a sandy Blue-Flag beach.
Two main outdoor pools provide respite from the holiday heat, while little ones also get a pair of pools to paddle in. Sun loungers and parasols are in plentiful supply and there are six bars across the premises, too, including a pool bar and one on the beach that’s open in the summer.
While the youngsters are at the kids’ club, why not grab an hour or two at the spa? You’ll find a seawater pool and a huge wealth of treatments such as revitalising massages and traditional therapies inspired by ancient Tunisian techniques. Entertainment, meanwhile, is provided throughout the day courtesy of the talented animation team.
You’ll find plenty to do in the wider resort as well. Such as Carthage Land, the largest amusement park in North Africa, just a 15-minute stroll from the hotel.
