"Hotel Telemaque does not provide appropriate conditions for families with children. The same young staff member works as a children’s animator during the day and performs for adults in the bar in a clearly sexualized outfit in the evenings, after which she again has direct contact with children. Children’s activities (mini-disco) are held in a bar where alcohol is served. After raising my concerns, the hotel manager took no action and instead tried to shift responsibility onto me as a parent, suggesting that I was “bringing my child into a bar,” despite the fact that the hotel itself organizes children’s activities there. During a horse show, a very dangerous situation occurred: the area was not secured, there were no barriers or staff present, and a horse nearly trampled my child. Staff appeared only after the incident. Additionally, I experienced unwanted advances from a staff member and multiple cleanliness issues (clogged shower, dirty blankets, presence of insects). I strongly advise against this hotel for families with children."

"What a wonderful place! We were a bit worried having read other reviews about non French speaking/ English guests, but the staff could not have been more welcoming & friendly. Everyone from the restaurant waiters, bar staff, cleaners & animation team. It felt like staff were excited to practice their English haha. Particular shout out to Seif, one of the waiters, who was super friendly & always made sure to say hello & check how we were, even when not serving our area, as well as Willy & Alpha from the animation team, so lovely too. The hotel had a warm, friendly & relaxed atmosphere, & was just such a nice environment to be in. Such lovely vibes! All areas of the hotel were spotless, including the beach area. The room was comfy & clean & fresh water was always provided. The bathroom could maybe do with a little update, & the view from our balcony wasn’t great, but that didn’t matter at all. A wide selection of food available, & as a vegan & vegetarian, we were a bit concerned there may not be many options, but there was such a variety, mealtimes were no problem at all. Breakfast was maybe a little bit restricted for us but lunch & dinner more than made up for it. A huge selection of meats & seafoods available, which all looked great. The labelling of foods could be better as some things weren’t labelled at all & others had no English translation, so if you had a particular allergy, you may struggle, but otherwise it was pretty straightforward to figure out what dishes were vegan/veggie & I really enjoyed everything I ate. Really easy to get to the main town- taxis go from the main gate & cost the equivalent of around £2. We didn’t explore much of the local area, other than walking along the beach, so can’t really comment on what’s nearby, but did a day trip to flamingo island, that we booked online ourselves, which was about half the price of that offered from the tourist desk at the hotel. Beach towels are not included, you pay a deposit & then receive it back when you return them. It was fine doing this, but would be better if towels were just included as with other hotels we’ve been & saves the faffing around but wasn’t a huge inconvenience. Hotel entertainment is fab! Great fun to watch & the staff are excellent. A few things may have been lost in translation potentially & maybe didn’t seem all that politically correct or maybe that’s just a cultural difference! But great dancing & really engaging. We truly had such a lovely stay & wouldn’t hesitate to come back. I rarely go back to the same hotel twice as so many places to see, but with Telemaque, I think I just might!"
