"Nice stay unfortunately I made an error with our reservation so the room I booked 12 months ago wasn’t available but lovely Nelly couldn’t have been more helpful getting us a room so grateful for her kind assistance. The hotel is in a great location but you’ll see from other feedback the rooms are lacking with some of the basics you get in other hotels especially due the cost of hotel eg fridge & wardrobe so it’s a tight fit with luggage but we still enjoyed our stay"

"Very convenient location just a few minutes from the main station. Feels upscale upon walking in, art deco era and movie themed. Check in was a tad lengthy. We stayed in the Mimi Pollack room, which was a "star" room with a river view. The view was partially obscured by another building, but you could technically see it. Blinds we had no control over would also randomly move up and down. The stay is expensive ($500 CHF/night), but complimentary to your stay is basic room amenities, a movie room, a galley kitchen with coffee and tea (and a very confusing sink) and an ironing board. Thr bar had games to play and guitars you could take up to your room to hook up to an amp and play. Breakfast not included, cost 30 francs extra each day per person and is a typical swiss hotel buffet breakfast. The entire hotel was clean, we only stayed 2 nights and opted for the offer to trade having our room cleaned for a drink voucher for the hotel bar instead. Our whole group opted for that, good thing too because the cocktails average 20 francs each!! Overall a solid home base for our time in Zurich, with a couple quirks."
