"Poor communication, lacking services, exploitative business practices. I booked two separate stays a few days apart and inquired whether I could store luggage at the property in between the two. They told me that wasn't possible, which was surprising but so be it. That was necessary for my itinerary so I requested a cancellation. They told me over the phone they would approve a refund, so I submitted the cancellation and booked at another property. However they proceeded to reject the refund request and then stopped answering my emails."

"Honestly, I'm not sure how this hotel is a 4 star hotel. Yes, it has a chic vibe and a great 24 hour restaurant/bar, but the amenities are lacking. From check-in, we had a bad experience. There is no one to help you check in. Bartenders are working at the bar, and the girl who was there directly me and my friend to both hop on an iPad to check ourselves in. After a very long day of travel, at 10pm, the last thing anyone wants to do is check themselves into a hotel. My friend's reservation could not be found right away. I got through the entire check in process, and the iPad stopped working right at the end. She was helping 3 people while trying to check us in, and was very frustrated. My friend and I both upgraded to larger rooms, and both of our rooms were completely different. There is not closet, just a couple hooks on the wall. The towels and linens are like sandpaper. The self serve coffee on another floor was instant coffee, but the filtered water was nice. Is it that crazy to ask for coffee in the room? We stayed at 9 hotels during our month stay in Europe, and this was the only hotel with coffee like this. We understood that Zurich is a very expensive place, and I have no problem paying a fair price for a level of service and comfort, but this just wasn't it."

"Pick this hotel if you want to be close to the train station and in the heart of Zurich. Great hotel for any type of traveler. The Star rooms are worth the cost! The rooms are quiet and clean. The breakfast option provides really good food, wonderful coffees, as well as cocktails in the afternoon."
