Mama Shelter Zurich

"It is a good hotel, even for those traveling with children; they have two single rooms, one double room, and another with two twin beds, and so, there is a door in the hallway that you can lock and it feels like two in one. Now the problems, our room had a lighting problem and we had to take the room card to sleep with the lights off. Another problem was with the amenities, such as water and cleaning kit (cotton swabs, cotton, and other things), which were not restocked the next day."

"Clean and a good location with terrific staff! The main reasons I selected this hotel is that it allows dogs and because of its location, but the reason I would go back is the kindness and helpfulness and cheerfulness of the top-notch staff. I’ve spent my career in great hotels all over the USA, Canada, and Europe, and this has got to be one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. We had a medical emergency emergency involving an unexpected stay in the intensive station at the local hospital and needed to extend our two-night stay to a week time for recovery in your hotel. Your staff could not have been more kind or more helpful, from the restaurant team’s willingness to provide nutritious, simple, and comforting food for the recovering patient to the inquiries after our patient and offers of amenities like a tea kettle for our room and shopping suggestions. We need to return next month and even though because of a large event, the prices will be higher than usual we will be going to Mama Shelter Zürich again. I’d like to give a special shout out to the kind and generous super-helpful Astrid as well as Francisca and the nice man from Egypt at the front desk, as well as the terrific kitchen team and wonderful restaurant waiters and waitresses. I was so worried about our patient that I did not record the names of all the wonderful people working in the restaurant who were good to us, but I’m extremely grateful to them all. Their kindness and the welcome they give to guests his second to none. My dog would also like to send his thanks; he was treated like a family friend with warm and happy greetings everywhere he went. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"Top: extremely well located, attractive rooms, design, restaurant & professionalism of the staff: will definitely come back!"
