"No aircon and rooms are like an oven. Difficult to even sit in there let alone sleep. If I was staying for more than one night I’d be moving elsewhere"

"The only positive thing about this hotel was the location. Do not book this hotel if you plan to visit Zurich on hot days and summertime because the rooms have no aircon, they only have a small air cooling system which did not cool anything. We spent the 2 nights awake drinking water and the lack of sleep caused migraine and terrible headaches. The heat was stifling"

"We stayed at this hotel June 23 & 24 th during the heat wave. We booked this hotel with the help of the hotel staff from a different hotel. We had to cancel our flight home because of a health issue. There were no available rooms to extend at our first hotel. Did not realize the Leonardo had no air conditioning. The first night was only 2 fans with horrible heat conditions. Paid extra to upgrade to a room with an air cooler. We thought this would be better. The temperature on thermostat was 33 + C when we arrived at 10:30, by next morning only changed to 30 C and within 1 hour climbed back up to 33 C. We immediately started looking for new hotel with air conditioning. This experience was totally unacceptable in this day and age. We paid a lot of money for this room and even for an upgrade on 2nd night was no better! We never slept for 2 nights with one of us with health issues. Also on 2nd morning free breakfast was unavailable with no reason given. But did get a refund for the free breakfast. I have to say though the front desk staff and maid service were extremely efficient, kind and hardworking for the staff at front desk and the maid service."
