"Why I would recommend this hotel: A well-maintained airport hotel with nicely renovated public areas, friendly service and everything needed for a comfortable stay before or after a flight.
Location:
The hotel is conveniently located just a few minutes from Zurich Airport and can easily be reached using the shuttle service (should be free). Although it sits close to the motorway, the noise is surprisingly well insulated and was not noticeable inside the hotel. Zurich's city centre can be reached by taxi or public transport, although it does require a little more travel time compared to staying in the city itself. For travellers looking for convenience rather than sightseeing, the location is good.
Check-in:
Check-in took slightly longer than expected due to several guests arriving at the same time, but the wait was handled professionally and was well worth it. The reception team was exceptionally friendly throughout the entire process. I particularly appreciated that I was proactively asked whether I needed a public transport ticket, which was kindly offered as a complimentary gesture. The team also took the time to explain the breakfast hours as well as the Executive Lounge opening times, ensuring everything was clear from the start.
Room:
The room is exactly what you would expect from a Hilton property: comfortable, functional and well maintained. It offers everything needed for a pleasant stay, including a coffee machine, complimentary bottled water and a very comfortable bed. The room was spotlessly clean and everything worked. While the design is relatively standard for the brand, I had absolutely no complaints and found it to be a comfortable place to relax before travelling.
**Hotel facilities:**
The hotel offers all the facilities expected from a quality airport hotel. There is a fitness centre, although I did not have the opportunity to use it during my stay. The spacious restaurant was renovated, creating a modern and welcoming atmosphere and there is also a small convenience shop near the entrance for any last-minute essentials.
The Executive Lounge provides a solid offering throughout the day. Guests can enjoy soft drinks and a selection of light snacks, while the evening service includes salads and two hot dishes. Although the alcoholic beverage selection consists mainly of more affordable brands, the overall offering is adequate and provides good value for eligible guests.
Restaurant:
Breakfast was one of the highlights of the stay. The buffet offers an excellent variety of both hot and cold options, with fresh products and consistently good quality throughout. Whether you prefer a light continental breakfast or a more substantial meal before travelling, there is something for everyone. It is a breakfast I would happily recommend and certainly exceeds expectations for an airport hotel.
