Crowne Plaza Zurich an IHG Hotel

"Great base for Zurich, a bit out of the main tourist areas but close to 2 team stops and a supermarket. Maybe 10-15 mins tram to Zurich main train station. The hotel rooms are cosy, tea coffee facilities and nice bathroom. Robes and slippers provided. It's slightly dated and a little tired and small but totally acceptable for a city stay. Breakfast was outstanding with a really wide variety and an omelette station. Huge buffet laid out really well so you are never really waiting (e.g. At tea coffee machines)."

"I stayed for 2 nights and the room was compact but adequate. Breakfast was ok but crowded. Huge issue i encountered was on the last day i asked reception to store my bag. I went back at night with my ticket to collect my bag but they couldnt locate my bag. Upon checkiing the video recording they discpcered they made the mistake pf releasing my bag to another guest. I am still waiting for the operations manager to come back with a resolution to this issue"

"As every other IHG hotel, certain quality standard is expected and this property surpases by far this standard! Kudos to Sophie at the front desk! She was great! The only downside I see is the location. Far from downtown Zurich but with uber you’ll get there quite easily and cheap. Don’t use taxis!!! Expensive, expensive!"
