"The AC in the room was broken and making a loud noise even when turned off, making it impossible to sleep. We were offered a room in their 'Guesthouse' (2 star - not an equivalent to the room we booked) at the same price we'd originally paid. Unable to provide us with a suitable room we had to find our own accommodation elsewhere. The hotel then incorrectly informed the site we'd booked through that we were a 'no-show' and, also incorrectly, that we refused 'many alternatives' on the night and is refusing to provide a refund. I'd suggest going elsewhere as this hotel isn't willing to fix its mistakes once it has your money."

"Location was great - very easy to walk to pretty much everything (sites, train station, etc), a ton of good restaurants right downstairs, and easy to get a cab/Uber if you needed it. The bed was very hard, and the pillows were variable (mine was too hard, husband's was too soft, so we swapped, and then I asked for a second one). Room was very small, but that was ok because it was a vacation and we were only using it to shower and sleep! Despite what the website says, there is no AC, which is unfortunate, as it meant we needed to open the windows for some air to sleep, and as it is right on a busy walking area with restaurants and bars, there was enough noise that made it difficult to sleep. Our room did face the main street though, so maybe other rooms are quieter? The staff was very helpful, and the breakfast was pretty good! Overall, I think it's a toss-up, depending on what your preferences are."

"The only positive about this hotel is the location. Our room was extremely small with a slanted celinimg over the bed. When sitting up from the bed, one was at risk of hitting one's head. It was actually dangerous. There were not even stirrers for the coffee with the machine. I would not recommend this hotel. Shuttles to the airport are advertised, when we asked the staff said this meant one could call a taxi."
