"Let me start by saying Zurich in general is an expensive vacation destination. Five Zurich is outside the main city, but the city was easy to access, I would uber or take the train in because if you have a car finding parking is a problem. We opted to rent a car so that we could drive around Switzerland at our leisure. Parking at the hotel was 35 CHF a night but the persons working the valet always retrieved our car quickly so that was acceptable. I liked being outside the city because it can be crowded and noisy. Our Junior Suite room on the third floor was quiet with a view of the city, The hotel itself is beautiful. The rooms very nice. Note that if you book their Superior Room it is in a different building than the main hotel with a tunnel connecting the two, the rooms are very small with no mini bar. The items in mini bar in the main building rooms is absurdly expensive. Cocktails in the bars were also pricey at $25+ CHF a pop. We bought liquor and mixers off site. Breakfast buffet was 68 CHF. To get a cappuccino by itself it was 10 CHF. We did have a Nespresso machine in our room, but the water well did not look clean, and the machines themselves need to be descaled periodically. I doubt that gets done, I could be wrong about that but did not want to chance it. We went to the gas station down the road to buy cappuccinos and pastries that were very good for a fraction of the cost of the hotel offerings. The resort definitely caters to the wealthy, but I felt we were treated well by the staff, especially the manager. I had an issue with our room shortly after check-in, and he happily resolved it to my satisfaction. One person in our party who had booked a Superior Room has mobility issues so it was difficult for him to move back and forth between the buildings. On our second day we spoke to the manager and again he was helpful offering to upgrade our friend to a room in the main building for a reasonable fee. The pool area was one of the nicest I have seen at a hotel, and I travel a lot. Many loungers and couches sprinkled about with thick cushions and the pool itself was very refreshing not being heated. I myself don't want to swim in warm water, that is what hot tubs are for! The pool staff were also great. All and all, if you have unlimited money to burn, this would be the hotel for you. It is luxurious; however, I don't think I would return if I went back to Zurich, the inconvenience of having to go offsite just for a cup of coffee was not worth it. Given the price of everything at the hotel you would think you could at least get a complimentary cappuccino. That being said, if money is no issue for you, this may be the perfect resort for you."
