Lake Geneva Hotel

"Having previously lived in Geneva, when we come back to visit we always stay at the Lake Geneva Hotel to catch up with friends. I just love this hotel, the staff are amazing especially Alex and Oscar in the restaurant and the girls at the Reception. You couldn't ask for a warmer welcome. The rooms overlooking the lake are spectacular, but even if you get a room at the side there is still a good view of the lake. Having the train station within a 2 minute walk couldn't be more convenient. Also getting the free travel pass for the trains, trams and buses from the hotel makes life so much easier. We try and go back to visit at least twice a year and I never want to stay anywhere else. Couldn't recommend it highly enough."

"So upon checking in, bearing in mind that we had already paid 200 per night and staying for 6 nights at this point. We were then charged a further 500 to cover any damages that could occur to the room during the visit. This was refunded immediately upon checkout but this seems an excessive amount and wiped out a large percentage our funds meant to be used for our holiday there. I understand having the card on file but Charging the card straight away is unusual. Generally speaking the hotel was clean however a very basic room for the price. •No lock on the bathroom door. •No kettle/tea/coffee facilities. •A/C locked, sure it’s ’self regulated’ but even with the window open the room became uncomfortably hot at night. I dread to think what mid summer would be like. The swarm of mosquitoes didn’t help either. The staff did give us a new fan as the one in the room was broken however it had very little power. The receptionists were as helpful as they could be but the hotel itself was just not quite up to its 4* standard."

"We stayed here for 4 nights in Dec 2025. Hotel was quiet, clean and comfortable, rooms were a decent size and the staff very friendly. The hotel overlooks Lake Geneva. Breakfast was very good with a variety of hot & cold food on offer. The biggest advantage of this hotel is the train station is very close to the hotel doors, literally less than a minutes walk to get a train into Geneva (Versoix to Geneva takes about 10 mins by train). Great base for travelling in and around Geneva, we did trips to Chamonix and Lausanne."
