Room comfort: Larger than expected for an Ibis, with a comfortable bed and pillows. Well-equipped bathroom (shower, toilet, sink) and thoughtful extras: shampoo, shower gel, towels, hairdryer, Nespresso machine + tea.
Responsive service: When I reported leftover hair from a previous guest (on the bathroom walls/ceiling), the team acted immediately—sending a cleaner within minutes. The next day, the front desk followed up sincerely.
Location: Excellent public transport—just 15 minutes to Cornavin Station. Shops and restaurants nearby.
❌ The Not-So-Good
Hygiene inconsistency: The bathroom oversight (visible hair) was off-putting. The cleaner fixed the reported issue but didn’t re-clean the entire bathroom—half-measures don’t cut it.
Temperature: The room was a bit cold for my taste (I packed short pajamas and couldn’t make it to a store for warmer ones).
Breakfast: Disappointing. Processed meats, subpar croissants, boxed OJ, and mediocre coffee. The yoghurts were cheap, the cereal unappealing, and the Bircher müsli literally inedible.
Small nitpicks: Paper cups were just tossed on the counter (no tray/napkin).
