"I booked a room here for one night after landing late at Geneva Airport, so I wouldn't have to worry about catching the last train to Lausanne and could have a good night's sleep. I picked it for its location which could not be better - right beside the gare de Cornavin, literally across the road from the side entrance to the station. The whole experience was just great. The check-in at 11.30pm was efficient and friendly, the room on the 7th floor was comfortable and really quiet, there was a bathtub!! I slept extremely well. Some other reviews said the hotel was "dated"... I presume they mean the décor. I can only speak about my room but I thought the full wall of wooden wardrobes, incorporating mini-bar and desk in the same polished wood, was really stylish - kind of 1970s style, for sure, but nothing worn or "vétuste" about it, and the room was impeccably clean. And I was so happy the bathroom had a proper full tub rather than a walk-in shower as so many renovated hotels do. And as I mentioned the room was so quiet. I was overlooking Place de Cornavin but I really could hardly hear anything. I left early so did not try breakfast. Would definitely come back."

"Friendly staff and convenient location. Underpass abt 5m away link to Cornavin station. Bonus - we could catch NY fireworks display from hotel L8 breakfast room instead of being out in the cold. Room is a little dated but I would book here again for the location."

"I found this when I needed to rest with cases during the day with my son for several hours before heading to the airport. Our plans had changed and having checked out of a hotel in the historical area, we were faced with 5-6 hours of waiting until heading to the airport. Experience had me avoid heading to the airport before check in opened. Chat GPT recommended this hotel, located next to the train station, as offering a welcoming lobby area that imposed no time limits. That’s exactly what we got. The space is large with comfortable large seating areas and power sockets (reception even checked if we needed to borrow adapters). There are optional drinks to purchase without any pressure. The reception staff could not have been more welcoming and other travellers used the area on the same way. When I enquired whether I could bring a Burger King meal back in to eat, I received an enthusiastic ‘yes’ and a recommendation to take it to the 8th floor where we found a room off set tables to eat at with a microwave in the corner and incredible views from the floor to ceiling windows. All of this for free. It’s rare I leave a review, but all of this for free, and such lovely staff too… Outstanding."
