"The reasons we chose this hotel were the reviews by other guests and the location, it's about the same distance from the Old Town and the City of Sciences and Arts. During our stay the festival of Las Fallas was on which meant public transport strikes, traffic jams, road closures and route diversions. However as we also go the impression that city buses tend to be overcrowded all the time, our advice would be a) to use a taxi to/from the airport as the hotel is conveniently located on a double carriageway road feeding into an orbital motorway, b) to use the tram between the hotel and the city centre, the tram stop is about 10-15 minutes walk away and c) to use your own steam to get to the City of Arts and Sciences as again the nearest building of the complex is about 10-15 minutes walk away. The hotel has its rooms in two separate buildings, a main one where the reception and restaurant is and an annex next to it. Our room was in the annex. The room had a massive and comfortable bed, a mini fridge, a kettle and a safe and even though we could see the main road through the closed window, we couldn't hear any noise. The hotel being a 3 star, these details were unexpected and made our stay very comfortable indeed. A couple of notes however: a) our room was a little small, from other reviews I've seen I believe rooms come in different sizes and b) there was a strong sewage smell especially on the ground floor and the lifts, from what we saw, there seems to be a drains issue around the city, not particular to the hotel. What made our stay even better however was the fact that the hotel has a good restaurant. After a couple of bad experiences in town: bad service, bad food and exorbitant prices, we ended up having our dinner at the hotel restaurant every night. While it serves paella and other local dishes, the menu choices are limited. On the other hand, the food was well prepared and the service was excellent. All in all, we had a great experience, we liked the fact that we were close to the action but not too close and if we were to go back to Valencia we would definitely choose this hotel again."

"we stayed for 4 days, the rooms were nice, we had a broken light in the room but everything else was fine. the fitnessroom could be renewed and renovated, the restaurant was nice and the breakfast buffet good. :)"
