"Spent a week here in a one bed apartment with 2 teenage children. Room was so spacious and well equipped and the view was superb! The whole hotel smells clean and fresh and all the staff were so friendly. The what’s app service makes arrangements very easy and the sun longer reservation plan worked well for us. Often a queue with the pool attendant so we booked via reception in the evening as we weren’t choosy about where we sat and they always found us 4 loungers together. Easy to get around, often taxis waiting right outside the hotel which we used to explore the local area. Supermarket in hotel and across the road both well priced and we ate at both the local strip of restaurants and walked to San blas down the coastal path. A clean, peaceful and family friendly resort which definitely feels more than a 3 star hotel."

It’s rare to find a place that genuinely understands families, especially families with additional needs, but Santa Barbara does this effortlessly.From the moment we arrive, the staff treat us with warmth, patience, and genuine kindness. Nothing is ever too much trouble — whether it’s helping our children settle, adjusting small details in the room, or simply offering reassurance when we need it. Their consistency and compassion are the main reasons we return year after year. The apartments are spacious, spotless, and perfectly suited for families. The resort itself is calm, beautifully maintained, and ideally located. Every visit feels smoother, more organised, and more enjoyable than the last.Santa Barbara isn’t just a hotel — it’s a place where families like ours can relax, feel understood, and truly enjoy a holiday. We’re already looking forward to next year."

"I booked and paid in full for a family holiday at this hotel — a trip we had been planning for 3 months for 7 people, including 5 children. Without any warning, the hotel cancelled our reservation. When I contacted them about it, despite this being entirely their doing and not mine, they refused to give me a refund. To make matters worse, when I tried to speak to a manager to resolve this, she hung up the phone on me three times while I was mid-sentence trying to explain the situation. This is completely unacceptable treatment of a paying customer, especially one who had already paid in full for a family trip involving young children. I would strongly advise against booking here. Our family holiday was ruined, we are out of pocket, and we were treated with total disrespect when we tried to resolve it."
