"**Third Visit. Still Great Value, but Choose Your Dates Carefully!** We've stayed at the Globales Tamaimo Tropical three times now, May 2024, January 2026 and October 2026, and have thoroughly enjoyed all three visits. The biggest attraction is the value for money. Our latest seven-night all-inclusive holiday cost less than £1,000 for two people. The rooms have always been spacious and clean, housekeeping is excellent, and the staff throughout the hotel are friendly and hardworking. We've consistently enjoyed the food, with plenty of choice. We'd particularly recommend booking the à la carte restaurant, although it's closed Sundays and Mondays. The entertainment caters for different nationalities and there's usually plenty going on. We prefer the quieter pool, which offers a more relaxed atmosphere than the main pool. One tip is to bring your own reusable plastic drinking glasses. The main bar opens at 10am round the main pool and 12 at the quieter pool. The main bar always has more queues than the quieter pool, but never too busy. Our October visit coincided with school half term, and the hotel was noticeably busier. The dining room could be hot, noisy and crowded, with queues at peak times. The air conditioning was also disappointing compared with previous visits. Tables around the quieter pool weren't always cleared quickly enough. We wouldn't personally return during half term, but that shouldn't discourage families. We simply prefer a quieter holiday. **A word about the location:** There's not a huge amount immediately around the hotel, and you need to be prepared for hills and walking. There are around 120 steps to the top of the resort, and it's a fair walk to the beach. That said, it's well worth exploring. Head downhill to the wonderful black sand beach, uphill to the shops and supermarkets, or uphill and back down towards the lovely Los Gigantes marina, where you can book boat trips to see the local marine wildlife. Just remember, you'll have to tackle those hills on the way back! **Would we return? Definitely, particularly in May.** It's not five-star luxury, but the staff, food, cleanliness and value make it a hotel we're happy to recommend. Four stars from us, and we'd happily visit for a fourth time."

"The hotel wasnt what I expected. There was a system in which you trade in tokens for 2 cups for me and my wife these cups are for your all inclusive drinks. Everytime you want a drink you take the 2 cups back and they give you 2 clean cups and you repeat the process. I found this a bit annoying and the staff said it was due to a problem with plastic in tenerife which is fair enough. The room was a bit worn looking damage to the door and couch and i felt like the pictures didnt match the room really. But overall the room wasnt that bad just not great. We had 2 cockroaches in the room during our stay and we met people at the pool who had multiple cockroaches and either a mouse or rat in their room apparently. The food wasnt great either and it was a bit of a free for all at the buffet. People acting like they had never ate before hovering over your shoulder and more or less barging in to get food ive never seen grown adults act like that at a buffet before id rather eat out wasnt good. The staff were a bit rude not all but some. One of the guys at the pool bar in particular and also my wifes all inclusive band came off and the guy who takes you to your room when you first arrive was all smiles he couldnt have been over any faster to moan about the band and to get a new one hovering near us at the pool. The girls at reception were very nice though and th3 cleaners aswell. They did let us keep our all inclusive until the coach arrived which was good to be fair. Theres more but ill leave it at that. We got a good price for 2 people all inclusive for a week so you get what you pay for but in future id spend a bit more for something better. This is the first bad review ive gave on a holiday but im just being honest I wouldnt go back to this hotel."

"I have been to this hotel 3 times now on the same dates in October 2022, 2024, and 2026. Highlighting above all the great kindness and good treatment of all the hotel staff without exception (they are a 10), the entertainment team, although it is not the same group as the first time we went, the one there now continues to be the best part of the hotel, Peter, Ángel, Rayane, Ocean, Lea... and above all Davide, the friendliness and energy that this guy transmits is incredible!!!! Spacious rooms and common areas are good, the two large and beautiful pools, one for entertainment and another if you want to be quieter, the views from the solarium are incredible of the sea and the impressive giants!!! The only problem to highlight is the endless lines at the pool bar, which continue to be the worst; for a simple soda or coffee, you are waiting for more than half an hour. In general, an incredible hotel considering it is a 3-star, they have nothing to envy others for. GLOBAL THANKS TAMAIMO TROPICAL WE WILL RETURN!!!!"
