Puerto Palace

"I stayed at Hotel Puerto Palace in Tenerife and had such a great experience! The hotel is beautiful and very clean, with a lovely pool area and plenty of space to relax. The staff were always kind and helpful, and the atmosphere felt calm and welcoming. My room was comfortable and had a nice balcony with amazing views."

"LOCATION Situated in a hilly, mainly residential area with virtually no bars or shops within easy walking distance. The hotel ,however, does operate a courtesy bus into the centre. PROS Friendly and helpful staff Decent choice of varied and tasty food. Very clean and excellently maintained gardens. Good sized bedroom with ample storage. Although we had to pay extra 58 Euros to have a pool view ,otherwise the view was of a busy and noisy road. CONS Poor nightly entertainment,mainly consisted of a single singer/musician, There was not an animation team,so no organised activities ,such as aquarobics, pétanque etc. The Wi-Fi- was poor, impossible to achieve a connection in bedroom etc. CONCLUSION A decent and pleasant ,but due to remote and hilly location will not be returning."

"Don’t be fooled by the exterior, this hotel is atrocious. The rating is four star which is a falacy, it’s three at best. The staff attitude is appalling, every question we put forward to the reception staff was met with distain, an answer was just too much of an effort, almost ‘go & find out yourself’ attitude. No pleasantry’s on arrival or definitely throughout our 3 day stay (we had to move hotel) it was absolutely insurmountable . The rooms are extremely dated & have an old musty smell. The breakfast was inedible, the quality of food was was 1 star at most. Fresh orange juice was diluted orange cordial & quite chaotic. Parking was unavailable to whole time we were there & reception didn’t give a damn, so good luck finding a space on, you might have to walk several miles. This resort didn’t have the restaurant quality that would be expected. The 1 way system whilst driving is very confusing even with your satnav. All & all not to be recommended"
