Coral Teide Mar

"The hotel is a little old but more than makes up for it with service, helpful staff and location/services. It is in a great location, not too far from the beach. The cleaners do an amazing job, with rooms cleaned everyday (except Wed and Sun) I found our room with seaview too noisy (road outside) and they accommodated this and upgraded our room to pool view (for a fee) which is much quieter. There is a small shop next to the hotel for everyday items, but a supermarket 10 mins away is much cheaper. There is a post box within the hotel, handy for last minute postcards. Nice pool area, lovely gardens. Taxi rank right outside and trips you can buy within the hotel. Bankomat right across the road. All in all the staff make this the most relaxing joyful holiday. The only down side is no rep visit at our hotel, to ask about settling in or help with which trips to book, so I had to call and was advised you now book through the app. We booked with another agent (many on the street) who could explain the trips face to face."

"Where do I begin, I usually don't leave reviews as I'm not too fussy, however I need to write one after 10 days spend in this "hotel". The only good three things about our stay were the welcoming great staff at the reception, the lovely balcony esthetics of the hotel and that the rooms were cleaned regularly. Here comes the bad parts: the rooms are very dated the kitchenette is falling apart, the bathroom is mediocre at best! very small shower... the flusher was half broken... there was 3 times I have seen what looked like a little cockroach first time I didn't think nothing of it but then I've seen it two more times could have been over the opened balcony which we had to leave opened because there is no AC in the room, also the walls are paper thin we could hear people all around us not great especially during the night... the pictures are misleading and need to be updated the pool looks good in pictures but in real life it's like someone threw in a grande, tiles missing all over the pool floor and sides. the pool bar is not good the barman wouldn't make a good drink to save his life. we borrowed a car at the airport, so we parked in the hotel parking as you would... only to be yelled at towards the end of our stay by the hotel owner or manager that the parking is for staff only, she was rude towards my wife when she went to grab something from the car! I know people say it reflects to what you pay but I have been to 3 stars hotels in Grand Canaria, and all was great so I assumed with the lovely pictures this would be the same story, oh boy was I wrong!"

"Stayed here for a week in June, the staff on reception were friendly and welcoming on arrival. We had a Junior Suite room which slept 3 of us comfortably, it had a double bed and sofa bed in the lounge area. The kitchen area was small but adequate for self catering, as we eat out in the evenings, the bathroom was a decent size, with a shower over the bath. The room we had overlooked the gardens and pool area which was really attractive and well maintained. There is a pool bar which serves drinks, ice creams and a selection of sandwiches, open during the day. We didn't use the hotel restaurant but it serves breakfast which you can purchase in arrival if you wish. The hotel is on a good location, with numerous bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. We walked down to the beach area of Puerto de la Cruz, which is down quite a lot of steps, there is a large shopping centre and lots of local shops to visit here. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this hotel and really liked the resort itself."
