Catalonia Las Vegas - Adults Only

"Catalonia Las Vegas is so well located it is unreal. Right on the seafront just about in the middle of Puerto. All of the staff are very friendly and I mean all the staff. It’s the 2nd time we’ve been, both the same week mid October. We feel ‘at home’. I love the morning games. A very good variety and well ran by the entertainment ladies. Also helped by a really friendly group of guests who have been going here for years. For me the food is very good for a general buffet style. We were half board so breakfast and evening meal. You’d struggle to think of other things there should be for breakfast, ok some days some cut fruit was there and not others, but i guess that counts as variety. Evening food has a good variety, well at least for me. The red mojo sauce (which I’m told is made in the hotel) is to die for. I’m not a lover of spice and this does not. I only wish I could take some home with me. The hotel is very well kept and very clean. The maids do a fantastic job. There were a couple of little niggles. We were in a ‘premium’ room. This includes a turn down service, a chocolate being left. This happened on first 2 nights then stopped. Also I understand we should be left a bottle of water each day, this didn’t happen maybe 3 days of our 7. We did report this. Also the kettle with tea and coffee was not in the room on arrival, but this was quickly rectified. Also the bathroom door was very badly battered up on the bathroom side. This is one of those things but the shards would cut if touching you wrongly. If the cost remains similar then we will be going back hopefully for years to come."

"Just returned from this excellently located hotel after a brilliant week away. The Las Vegas is spotlessly clean with daily room cleaning service for rooms. It's an adults only hotel so the atmosphere is more laid back and relaxed than frenetic and lively , but the animation staff keep the party going by the poolside with fun activities as does the nightly entertainment. Rooms are bigger than average and almost all have a great view either of the sea or the national park. There are different types of room with varying facilities but the main thing is that they are exactly as advertised i.e. you get what you pay for. I would say that the Las Vegas is exceptionally good value for money, I've certainly paid for a lot more and got a lot less. There are plenty of sunbeds, nightly entertainment and there are quieter areas to have a drink and watch the word go by. The food is well above average for this kind of hotel , there is always plenty of choice available and the selection is changed nighty. Breakfast is particularly good for British visitors with sausages and porridge being on the menu everyday. Overall this is an excellent hotel which provides an exceptionally good value holiday, would definitely recommend."
