Beachside bliss with mountain views
The Bahia Principe Explore San Felipe is a tropical oasis on the island's north coast. Sitting pretty on Puerto de la Cruz's seafront a mere 30 metres from the beach, the complex features incredible views of both dramatic Mount Teide and the glittering sea.
Set within a lush garden of palms and manicured lawns, a spacious sun terrace surrounds the two heated outdoor pools - one for adults and one for children - which are served by a tasty poolside snack bar. A daily programme of entertainment and a kids' club will make sure that youngsters never get bored while grown ups can let off some steam at the gym.
Meals are served at one buffet and two à la carte restaurants which dish up feasts of Mediterranean and Italian cuisine. After dinner, unwind at the complex's lobby bar before getting involved in the evening entertainment which ranges from bingo and quizzes to shows and live music.
Please note, while the spa (which includes an indoor pool) is located within the hotel grounds, it is operated by an independent company and services are subject to availability and local charges.

Find out more about Puerto De La Cruz
With its lush greenery, historic quarter and dramatic coastline, Puerto de la Cruz holidays include everything that’s great about the north of Tenerife. This gorgeous coastal town is, in fact, one of the island’s first holiday resorts. When you explore this former fishing port with its botanical gardens, winding streets and leafy squares, you’ll be following in the footsteps of Agatha Christie, among others.
