"Our first visit here after many years at the Bitacora as it was a little bit cheaper and we really wanted to try it. The reception/ check in experience is more relaxing and the glass of cava is definitely a bonus. The quality of the food is great though perhaps a little less choice than the Bitacora, but possibly nicer. The rooms are great (we had a seaview) and it was really well kitted out with a nice balcony and good views. The pool and surrounding area are very big and there was never a scramble for beds, other than the ones at the very first row to the pool we could go down at 9 and have a massive choice of locations, such a nice change. The pool area felt very relaxed. The entertainment was also a step up from other places and we enjoyed it. Really liked this hotel and we will be returning to it My only real gripe is that you have to pay to use the gym, but that's just me."

"Highs + Spacious Rooms: Well-proportioned and comfortable. + Breakfast Variety: A great and diverse selection to start the day. + Excellent Pool Facilities: A very large swimming pool complemented by a great pool bar. + Housekeeping: Flawless daily room cleaning and fresh hotel towels provided. + Staff: The female staff at the buffet were exceptionally pleasant and helpful. + Convenience: Ample parking space and a great overall location. Lows - Customer Service Issue: One of the male staff members at the breakfast buffet (distinguishable by a shaved head and a scar on his forehead) was unfortunately very unprofessional and dismissive. - Service Missteps: At lunch, I ordered a lemonade but was served a Sprite instead. When I pointed this out to the same staff member, his response was highly indifferent, stating it was essentially the same thing. Despite not getting what I ordered, I paid for the drink and left the cash on the table. Regrettably, the same employee followed us into the hotel hallway to demand payment without checking the table first. - The two à la carte restaurants, Coal and Diablo, were decent but nothing special. They didn't really feel like a true à la carte experience as advertised. - Noise Levels: The atmosphere might not suit early sleepers; the music from the hotel terrace is quite loud and echoes into the rooms, meaning you can realistically only rest after 11:00 PM. - Maintenance: The glass panels on the indoor elevators could use more frequent cleaning. Conclusion If you are looking for a completely quiet and peaceful getaway, this might not be the ideal choice. However, looking at the bigger picture, it was a very beautiful experience overall, provided you overlook these few areas that need improvement."
