Green Garden Eco Resort

"We stayed at Green Garden Eco Resort from 7th April for one week, and overall had a really lovely, relaxed family holiday. The hotel itself is relatively small and not the type of large resort we’d usually choose, but that actually became part of its charm. It felt calm, well-kept, and personal throughout our stay. The location was ideal for us—around 20 minutes from the airport, just a 5-minute taxi ride to Siam Mall and the waterpark, yet slightly tucked away. It’s about a 15-minute walk to the nearest supermarket and roughly 30 minutes to the beach. The walk down is pleasant, though uphill on the return, so we often opted for a taxi back (€5–€10), which was very convenient. We made great use of the free bus to Siam Park on three days (included with our Jet2 booking), and taxis back were only €5 each time—very easy to organise. Our family one-bedroom suite was excellent. The balcony was particularly impressive—very spacious, with artificial grass, a table and four chairs, a day bed, and a sofa. Inside, the room was spotless and well laid out, with a double bed in both the lounge and bedroom areas, a small but practical kitchen space with a fridge, and a spacious bathroom. We didn’t have a bath, but our toddler was perfectly happy using the shower (and I understand baby baths can be requested). A travel cot was already set up for us on arrival, which was a nice touch. The only minor issue we encountered was that the front door handle and lock were quite low, meaning our toddler could reach and open it. However, reception handled this brilliantly—within 15 minutes of raising it, maintenance had fitted a stair gate to the door, which gave us real peace of mind. Service like that really stood out. The entire hotel was immaculately clean. Each morning, outdoor areas were swept and mopped, and housekeeping was consistent. There’s also a simple system in place if you want your sheets changed, you can leave the provided card on the bed. We were initially unsure about there being just one restaurant, as we usually enjoy a bit more variety, but this was completely unfounded. Each evening had a different theme, and the food was genuinely some of the best we’ve had on holiday—fresh, varied, and with very little repetition. The restaurant staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. As someone who requires gluten-free options, I was particularly impressed—two of the chefs went out of their way to guide me through safe choices, and on three separate evenings even prepared special dishes for me. On Italian night, when options were limited, they made me a fresh, homemade gluten-free pizza, which was delicious. Breakfast was consistent each morning but offered plenty of choice, from pastries and cereals to full cooked and continental options. Lunch (included in our all-inclusive package) was just as good as dinner, with freshly grilled meats, salads, pasta, rice dishes, and a standout BBQ on Wednesday lunchtime. The snack bar, though small, had a good selection of sandwiches, fruit, and pastries, open twice daily. It was also very family-friendly, with plastic plates and cutlery for children and plenty of high chairs. The pool area was great for families. The main pool is split into a heated and non-heated section—the heated side was understandably more popular, while the cooler side remained quieter. There’s also a separate baby pool, which our toddler absolutely loved. Sunbeds were comfortable with padded cushions, and we never struggled to find space. There were some really thoughtful touches for children, including two sandpits with buckets and spades, and a kids’ club area with a treehouse and toys (which we were able to use informally as our toddler was too young to join the club). There’s a mini disco at 7pm each evening—we attended once, but it didn’t feel particularly geared towards under 4s. Evening entertainment takes place on a stage within the main restaurant, which we actually preferred, as it meant no need to move elsewhere or worry about getting seats. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations. It’s clean, friendly, well-organised, and ideal for families looking for a quieter, more relaxed atmosphere without being far from key attractions. We wouldn’t hesitate to return"

"We stayed Saturday to Wednesday during May with my mum and 7 year old niece. Staff on reception are very welcoming when you arrive. We arrived at 9.30pm so were given sandwiches, juices and fruit to take back to the room with us. Our room (number 68) was up a rather large flight of stairs, lifting 3 suitcases up there after a long day was super hard work!! The room consisted of a large living room, with smaller kitchen area and a balcony at one side. The living room had a large double sofa bed set up. Then a large bedroom (with second, smaller balcony and twin beds) and bathroom at the other side. The rooms were of a great size, the whole apartment was very clear and the two air con units (one in each room) were fantastic and not too noisy! Plenty of towels and storage space, plus a huge fridge/ freezer. Hairdryer was located in the bathroom and it was more than adequate. The room was very close to everything, but that did make it noisy on an evening until the entertainment stopped at around 10.15pm. Shower was powerful but floor could be a little slippy. Restaurant was open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. All the food was gorgeous and fresh, people who are moaning are mad. Plenty of choice, lots of salad, fruit, cheese, dessert and freshly cooked options. No real 'show cooking' however, mum had fried eggs one breakfast and said they were cooked amazingly and obviously hadn't been sat there long. The bar is also in the restaurant too, which is a little strange, but honestly it wasn't busy and we always sat outside so it didn't bother us at all. Breakfast had a proper fresh orange machine where it squeezes the oranges for you (I am obsessed with these!) and a mimosa section! Plenty of pastries (croissants were to die for,) pancakes, eggs, fruit, meats, sausage, bacon. Spoilt for choice. Also was a coffee machine (can't comment on this as we don't drink it) that was available all the time and a good variety of tea bags. Lunch and Dinner were similar to breakfast, so much choice. Table service for drinks (although because we ate outside this was always a bit hit and miss for us, had to chase people for drinks but when you tried to go up to the bar during meal times they said they would bring them over.) Theme nights for dinner, but always pasta, pizza, salad, fruits etc. Honestly we didn't find anything to complain about food wise. There was even a BBQ on Wednesday lunch time which was amazing. There is also a snack bar by the pool that your wrist band opens if you are on all inclusive (it also opens your room door- ok until you have little people with you, as their wrist bands also open the snack bar and the rooms!!) In there you could help yourself to water, soft drinks (coke zero on draft!!) beer and loads of snacks. Before lunch it was crisps, little sandwiches, nuts, croissants and after they put out a few warm options (chips, wedges etc.) There was also an ice cream cart that was open from lunch onwards that had 4-5 flavours that you could help yourself too and a water re-fill station just outside the shop (they gave you a bottle to refill when you arrive and the water is ice cold- cannot understand people who said they were left without water?!) It was fab. There was also a pretty good size shop on site that sold ice creams, lollies, all types of drinks, wine, little gifts etc. Didn't find this too pricey. Pools- one was heated, one wasn't. The cold one never had anyone in it! Plenty of sun loungers, could always get somewhere but they are very close together. Maybe in the summer its busier? We found it very peaceful when we went (before half term!) It also felt really safe for my niece- life guard on duty, play area for the kids, nowhere really for them to get lost as its quite small place, staff were SO lovely. When all the kids came back to the bar area one evening after running around, a waitress got them all juice and everyone was so friendly. We all visited the spa whilst we were there- mum and I had 50 min relax massages (60 euros each) and my niece had a 'My first massage' which was 20 minutes and was around 25 euros I think. They were all fantastic. We didn't get picked up for our return flight until 6.45pm, so we asked for late check out. You cannot do this until the day of- as the rooms are still up on their sites for booking. We were lucky (don't think the hotel was that busy!) and when I went down at 8am the room was available for us to keep on. I paid 10 euros an hour, so 60 in total to keep the room until 6pm (check out normally at 12.) Honestly this was great as it would have been a long day without the room, although there was a courtesy room that you could shower in. People have said their wrist bands were taken off them- ours were not. We also got a voucher for lunch as we did not have lunch on the day of arrival (all inclusive is technically cut off at 12, but honestly we had no issue grabbing water and lunch- there is also the shop which is super reasonable for drinks.) All in all I would def stay again- but it is much further out that I thought it would be, despite the fact I always Google Map stuff before I go! A good 20-30 minute walk down to the beach and I did that by myself at a pretty good pace. It's uphill on the way back, but was only 5-6 euros in a taxi that are all over the place."

"We had a lovely stay at Green Garden resort in March. We would highly recommend for families. The staff are really lovely - especially Fanny in the resteraunt who was always so helpful and smiley. The hotel is situated just out of the main of the town, but easily accesible by a walk. Close to golf course. We would here stay again. Postives; Our room / apartment was beautiful. The private pool was such a lovely touch - highly recommend upgrading to a family villa pool / garden. Cleaned beautifully everyday. A stairgate was provided in our apartment - very family friendly. The grounds of the hotel are mainted very well, constantly being cleaned with the gardens mainted. The gardens are lovely. Great for familys - lots of activies, lovely play area / house, sandpits. Resteraunt has lots of high chairs / plastic plates for kids. The reteraunt has gluten free options too - sometimes you have to ask for these (Pasta, Pancakes, Pizza). Food is labelled but I would double check with chef as I found a few of these had errors on the allergen labelling. Things that would be nice to improve; - A bigger variety of food (particuarly at lunch) - A few more gluten free items in the desserts / snacks section - Be consistent on where smoking is allowed - we saw a number of people smoking / vaping round the pool which I didn't think was allowed and wasn't great with the number of kids around but no one stopped this - The only bar is in the restaurant which can make it a little awkward to get cocktails / drinks by the pool or drinks at night with others eating - it would be nice to have a seperate bar - Sometimes the kids club is reserved for customers who have only booked with a spesific holiday Overall we had a great stay and would highly recommend."
