"Hotel has had good renovations very clean but the food in the restaurant is so cold! The hot plates are on but food is freezing cold! I have had tuna salad for lunch and dinner every day! Complained to a manager today they are not visible much but nothing changes wanted to come back here in September but unsure now"

"We travelled here on 7 February and were very pleasantly surprised! There were a lot of bad reviews from before the refurbishment but they have done a really great job. There were still a few teething problems, but this is to be expected as it had only re-opened a few days before! The rooms were modern and clean and the pool area was relaxing with lots of space to sunbathe. My little boy loved the kids' club - the staff were brilliant - he took a shine to them! The location is great too - very close to the beach and nice restaurants"

"We stayed for 5 nights half board during the first week of opening after renovation. I paid a very reasonable rate booking direct through Melia App and I was happy with what I got for my money. Room with lounge is spacious, great shower and everything extremely clean. The furnishings and fixtures are colourful and fairly basic. Likewise the food and entertainment were only average while we were there. Lovely clean pool. You can rent a pool towel for 20 euros refundable deposit at reception. Bit of a funny system at pool bar where you have to keep exchanging tokens for a new glass and get a new token when you take the glass back. That's all a bit pointless I reckon. Unfortunately the paint job on the balconies seems to have been rushed. The paint splashes on clothes airer were pretty noticeable. We got our drinks from the bar and took next door into the restaurant to have with dinner. They didn't take drinks orders at the table but we did notice a QR code on the table so but we didn't use this to order drinks. You always have to set your expectations in line with what you pay, and in our case I was very satisfied. The hotel cannot be compared equally with other 4 star places where you might find Show cooking, a more comprehensive entertainment programme and fancy food. However it is offering a great location, great views from balconies and good value in a nice resort. Therefore I would gladly return again sometime."
